Супервайзер округа Тулар поддерживает кандидата Пола Веру на выборах в городской совет Портервилля

Tulare County Supervisor Larry Micari is lending his endorsed Paul Vera in the race for Porterville City Council District 1 in the November 3 midterm election, pointing to their shared backgrounds in law enforcement and public service as a strong foundation for Vera’s approach to leadership. Micari brings decades of law enforcement experience to his own role in local government. He began his career with the Farmersville Police Department in 1984 before joining the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office, where he served in patrol, investigations, detention, administration, emergency operations, Search and Rescue, and Mutual Aid. He ultimately rose to the rank of Captain before retiring in 2017. He was elected to the Tulare County Board of Supervisors in 2020. Vera stated he also comes from a career built around public safety, leadership, accountability, and service. As the two discussed their experiences and their views on public service, their professional backgrounds quickly revealed a shared set of principles, Vera stated. The connection between the two men is therefore about more than their former professions. It is about a common understanding of what public service demands, Vera stated. Micari said he was happy to lend his support to Vera as he seeks to continue serving the public in a new capacity. Micari added he wishes Vera much success in the campaign and in his continuing commitment to public service. Paul Vera is a candidate for Porterville City Council District 1, running against Scott Bowler.
