Фонд Arvest выделил 5000 долларов школе Dewey на обновление учебных материалов

The Arvest Foundation has awarded a $5,000 grant to Dewey Public Schools to help fund supplemental curriculum resources and classroom equipment for teachers and guidance counselors. The donation was presented by Arvest branch manager Sandy Burns to Dewey Superintendent Vince Vincent during the Bulldoggers' season-opening home football game on Friday, Sept. 4. "Dewey Public Schools continues to strive for the best for its students and staff," Burns said. "We are proud to present this check on behalf of the Arvest Foundation to provide additional funding for teachers and counselors who are impacting the lives of students every day." The grant will provide additional resources for educators and counselors as the district continues its mission of creating a safe, flexible learning environment focused on developing the whole student. Dewey Public Schools emphasizes student-centered learning while equipping students with the skills needed for lifelong learning and future success. Vincent thanked Arvest for its ongoing investment in the district. "We are incredibly grateful for our continued partnership with Arvest Bank and this generous gift from the Arvest Foundation," Vincent said. "They have a long history of supporting public education in our community, and this donation will go directly into our classrooms to support student learning and elevate the daily educational experience for our children." The Arvest Foundation provides grants to nonprofit organizations and community initiatives throughout the region, supporting education, economic development, health and human services, and quality-of-life programs.
