Терапия фасциального релиза помогает восстановить связь тела и сознания для исцеления

When I do a body read I stand looking at my client’s structure. I stand 10 ft back and I close my eyes. I notice what’s happening for me. I look inward to notice myself before I start to body read another. I notice my own experience, how I feel inside sensationally, I notice my mental activity, I observe my own feelings and I rest into my awareness that is simply observing. When I open my eyes and new information comes from seeing my client’s body, I get a feel and a sense of where this client is living in 3 dimensional space. When I get clear on where I am at, I have a better understanding of what is added when I see this whole person standing in front of me. I measure. Just like in art class when you go to draw a figure, or measure the subject. I also notice what I sense, think and feel as it is altered by how they organize themselves. A body read helps me understand where to release restrictions in their fascia with Myofascial Release. I open my eyes. I look for asymmetry, for alignment of bones, body weights, the size and shape of each body part. If there is torsion in the pelvis, how does the pelvis tip, where does the belly button point. Is there torsion between the rib cage and the pelvis. Are the shoulders at an equal level. How does the head pitch, is there a lean, is the body dumping into the sorter leg? I draw an invisible line to see where left side and right line up and don’t align. I size up each pair of joints, comparing one side to the other. I notice relationships between these body parts. I notice front, back and sides and above and below as they quarter turn and show me their front side and back body. Over 27 years as a bodyworker I have been reading for 22 years. I take note of lines of tension, patterns of fascial adaptation. Under the surface forces of tension can build up because of uneven weight distribution. Because the tension is battling gravity. Uneven tension in a joint creates compensation patterns and tends to affect other areas and the relationships in the rest of the body. Because the body is relating to the entirety of it self. Over developed, underdeveloped muscles can do jobs they were not designed further contributing to pain, inflammation, and immobility. This creates uneven unorganized dysfunction. These imbalances put unnecessary stress and tension not only in the site that the fascia has fortified in. Scaring, adhesions and other fascial restrictions can develop not only from trauma, injury and surgeries, it can be from athletic, work, living patterns of movement. The tissue can twist, wrap, pull and fold, it can become stretched, lax loose and lack a healthy tone. With Myofascial Release I can pull out the slack in the tissue and release these connective tissue bindings. I notice how the tissue has formed, how old it looks, what kind of condition is the skin in, is it taught, stretched, or slack? I look underneath the surface to the many layers and different forms of connected tissues. Knowing what’s current in the body Myofascial Release Therapy effectively treats all muscular fascial layers. In the seminars for Myofascial Release the John Barnes method we were briefly introduced to body reading. In my education at Pacific Center for Awareness and Bodywork we did a body read whenever we were seeing a client. I developed the acuity over the 1300 trained hours as we referred to the body read to keep track and notice the changes as we reorganize the tissue. We were also taught the tracking skills to notice how our clients walk, talk, breathe, stand, sit and posture. This helps me to help you, when I can see what is where and who is doing what in your body, each part of you can then have a voice and be a part of the conversation. When we notice from our awareness we are open and spaciously present to what is occurring in the moment. This is where healing can happen, where real positive change can take hold. Your physical matter is affected by your attention, so how do you become present to notice and to be at the helm of your ship? Your transformation occurs in these centered states, you’re equally able to be relaxed and be in positive tension. You are RAW in relaxed, alert and waiting states. When you can give your weight to gravity, this is how you can be in a good relationship to ground, you can receive the energy and support of the earth. To the earth you can give away what you no longer need, what no longer serves you. When you no longer are in struggle against gravity, you are using it as a base. When you are in right relationship to the earth, you are in your center. Developing equal weight distribution in your feet can change the way you organize yourself. When you can learn to surrender to gravity your ability to grow, lengthen spread and differentiate becomes available. The first step to build is on a solid foundation. I have a client who has a complete ankle replacement, which is more rare. He has very different legs, he has had surgery and rods in his cervical spine, replacement of his knee. The ankle is often the beginning of compensation from limping or taking weight off the injury which creates systemic imbalance in the body. He has gotten a lot of relief from Myofascial Release. He has more mobility in his neck and ankle and less stiffness in his back. With MFR his pain has significantly diminished. As we continued with sessions he spoke about a teacher who told him that he wasn’t going to be amount to anything in his life. As a young school boy this really impacted him. His mother and relatives were also critical and he spoke about how that had kind of created an undercurrent. Some part of him gave up trying. He seems to recreate the criticism internally now, and has expressed his desire to change the internal narrative. His focus seems to be on what he doesn’t have, what went wrong. And these are easy places to frequent. Especially when just walking can be a chore. And so we start with offering ourself compassion, we notice the self judgement, the expectations and we rest into the awareness that notices. When we get space and let happen what is happening the continual state of change helps to bring about something new. We can notice and choose something different. This empowering place of actualization of change is how the transformation of your body starts. ”The information provided in this publication is for educational purposes only and is not intended as a substitute for professional medical advice.
