В Фэрфилде открылся спа-салон Selah Studio, предлагающий косметологические услуги, электролиз и медицинский массаж в атмосфере духовного восстановления

Dana Adams is all about peacefulness, ministry, skincare, and holistic beauty services. It’s why her new studio is done in soft, neutral colors that give it a homey feel, each room for a specific service. Adams business, Selah Studio, is now open in Clock Tower Place on Nilles Road in Fairfield. There, she offers an array of services that include corrective skin care – including her own line of products – along with electrolysis, and soon, massages from medical massage therapist Pamela Olberding. “I want everything to be calming, soothing – taking you from the fight or flight mode into parasympathetic - rest,” Adams said. “My business incorporates prayer and ministry – holistic wellness, God’s way. I want to treat mind, body, and soul.” Toward that goal Adams has what she calls a restoration room. Before receiving a facial, those who would like, can go into the room and pray with Adams, have their feet washed, spend quiet time and receive a facial massage. “I want this to be a place of restoration – a sanctuary experience where women can experience quiet luxury and rest,” Adams said. Her business came about after a neck injury in 2014 made it difficult to continue her work as a hair stylist. “I got involved in skin care and found I had a love for it,’’ she said. For the past eight years she has worked out of a 640-square-foot rented spaced in Hamilton. The move to Clock Tower Place nearly triples her space. It is allowing her to lease space to Olberding, who is also a registered nurse. She worked at a chiropractor’s office giving medical massages. Adams goes to Olberding for massage services. “I’ve always wanted to own my own business,” Olberding said. “I love Dana. We decided to work together. I love this location.” Olberding will begin offering services Aug. 31.
