Центр Саттлфилда в Луфки получил высшую оценку «А» от агентства образования Техаса

From its very beginning in 1996, the Beth and Horace Stubblefield Learning Center (SLC) has led the way in providing an innovative and unique learning path to a high school diploma. It serves “at-risk” students in our area, many of whom face obstacles and barriers few could imagine. That is exactly where SLC has excelled and where it continues to excel today. Supported by a dedicated cooperative of Central, Diboll and Hudson ISDs — along with our partner foundations, businesses, industries and individuals — SLC is a true community effort. The past year has brought some significant regional changes, but those challenges are only pushing SLC to become even more innovative and committed to our mission of transforming young lives and futures. The proof of this commitment is undeniable. In the recently released 2026 Texas Education Agency (TEA) accountability ratings, the Stubblefield Learning Center (operating under Hudson ISD) achieved an overall “A” rating with a scaled score of 92. This achievement belongs to the students, the staff and the community that refuses to let anyone fall through the cracks. SLC empowers students through personalized education, meaningful relationships and innovative opportunities that lead to high school graduation, career readiness and lifelong success. Working in partnership with families, school districts, Angelina College, local employers and our community, we create pathways to hope, achievement and a brighter future for every student. Nurtured by a dedicated, multi-credited staff of educators, 2,166 students have walked across the SLC stage with their high school diplomas. The center’s reach also spans deep into the summer months; historically, 7,270 students have completed summer coursework here. In fact, this past summer school session was a tremendous success, with 107 local students earning over 200 credit hours. The self-paced curriculum does not just meet these students where they are academically; it actively prepares them for life beyond graduation. When our students graduate, it is not just a personal achievement — it is a massive win for their families and the entire economic and social future of our deep East Texas area. As a parent of a recent graduate beautifully stated, “Honestly, I don’t know what we would have done without Stubblefield … You have such wonderful employees, and what y’all offer at Stubblefield is truly an amazing resource. Our community is very fortunate to have you.” The Stubblefield Learning Center remains the place where second chances truly become bright futures. If you are 18 or under, have dropped out, or have had difficulty in the traditional school setting, and are in need of completing your high school education and earning your diploma, SLC wants to talk to you. We can help you get back on track and meet your life goals. Let us continue to stand behind this vital institution as it shapes the leaders of tomorrow.
