Компания Sensible Automation Solutions переезжает в округ Мэдисон и создаст новые рабочие места

James Catlett of Sensible Automation Solutions spoke to the Rotary Club of Madison County on Aug. 21 about his company and its work in advanced manufacturing. Founded in 2013, Sensible Automation Solutions specializes in robotics, control systems, CNC machining and custom automation. Catlett said the company serves clients in the automotive, pharmaceutical and chemical industries. Catlett highlighted the company’s work with nonprofit SIRUM, for which it builds automated equipment to help process donated medications so they can be provided to patients at a lower cost. He also discussed a smart cane being developed to assist elderly and visually impaired individuals using sensors and LiDAR technology. Catlett said he plans to relocate the company from Alpharetta to Madison County, with the new facility expected to be operational by the end of the year. He hopes to work with Athens Technical College and other local programs to provide internships, training and career opportunities in advanced manufacturing. Catlett said Madison County’s rural character, available land, proximity to educational resources and small-town sense of community were important factors in choosing the area for his family and growing business.
