В Керрвилле пройдет юбилейный гала-ужин в честь 50-летия приюта для детей

The Hill Country Youth Ranch Auxiliary is celebrating 50 years of providing a safe, loving and life-enhancing Christian environment for children and young adults with its annual Healing Hearts Celebration. The event, the longest-running charity fundraiser in Kerr County, will hold a special 50th anniversary gala Tuesday, Sept. 22. The event raises funds for enrichment, educational and transitional programs at the ranch's three campuses: Hill Country Youth Ranch in Ingram, Big Springs Ranch in Leakey and Enhanced Horizons in Ingram. This year's celebration will be held at the Y.O. Ranch Hotel and Conference Center in Kerrville. Doors open at 10 a.m. for a special art show featuring works by children from the ranch. Proceeds from purchased pieces go directly into the child's college fund. Several raffles will also be offered, including a chance to win a $1,000 HEB gift card, a mohair vest designed and created by Dolores' Unique Designs, and a wine basket filled with fine wines, among other items. A plated luncheon begins at 11:30 a.m., with the program starting at noon. The program will feature a video showcasing the ranch's enrichment programs, an alumni testimonial, a style show of thrift shop fashions and a live auction. Sponsorships are available at $10,000, $5,000, $2,500 and $1,000 levels and include tables of 10, special recognition and a VIP event experience. Individual tickets are $75 each, and tables of 10 are available for $750. The event is limited to 500 on-site attendees, and tickets are available now. Tickets for the 50th anniversary Healing Hearts Celebration on Sept. 22 can be purchased at healinghearts2026.cbo.io or through the Youth Ranch website, www.youth-ranch.org. Hill Country Youth Ranch has provided a safe, loving and life-enhancing Christian environment for children and young adults who have suffered severe trauma from abuse or neglect for the past 50 years, benefiting more than 2,000 children.
