Супермаркет Homeland на бульваре Мэдисон в Бартлсвилле останется открытым

UPDATE (2:35 p.m. 9/11/2026) A representative from Homeland Stores contacted Bartlesville Radio on Friday, Sept. 11 informing that the company has reversed course on closing the Homeland grocery store on Madison Boulevard. The representative, who did not wish to go on record, says the store will remain open. PREVIOUS STORY A second Homeland-owned grocery store in Bartlesville is closing its doors. A member of management, who wished to remain anonymous, confirmed to Bartlesville Radio that the Homeland at 915 S. Madison Blvd. will be closing effective Oct. 17. Homeland Stores announced in March the four Bartlesville stores were up for sale. However in June, the Homeland-owned United Supermarket closed without a sale to another entity. The Homeland Madison location also did not attract a buyer. Following the closure of the Madison Boulevard store, Bartlesville’s two remaining Homeland stores on Frank Phillips Boulevard and Washington Boulevard continue operating as normal, barring any additional announcement from Homeland stores. The Madison store was built in 1971 as a Safeway. Homeland purchased Safeway stores’ Oklahoma operations in 1987. The Madison location transitioned to a Homeland-branded store in 1988.
