CAMERON — Multiple felony cases were recently resolved by Judge John W. Youngblood in the 20th Judicial District Court, according to Milam County District Attorney Brian Price. Sentences included prison terms, state jail confinement, probation, deferred adjudication and restitution. Those convicted and sentenced include: Angelia Kay O’Bryant, 60, of Cameron, was sentenced to 18 years confinement in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) after pleading guilty to the first-degree felony of manufacture/delivery of controlled substance, 4-200 grams; Raymond Ulmer, 50, of Austin, was sentenced to 6 years confinement in TDCJ by the court following a contested hearing after pleading "not true" to a motion to revoke probation for the original third-degree felony of possession of a controlled substance, 1-4 grams. Clemente Abila Jr., 49, of Rockdale, was sentenced to 10 years confinement in TDCJ, probated for 5 years with standard probation conditions, and was ordered to pay a $1,000 fine and $5,595 restitution to the victim after pleading "true" to a motion to revoke probation for the original second-degree felony of burglary of habitation; Brendon Jace Bolsins, 37, of Belton, was sentenced to three 6-year terms of confinement in TDCJ after pleading "true" to motions to revoke probation for two original third-degree felonies of injury to elderly and one of assault family violence impede breathing; David Lee Cooper, 51, of Rockdale, was sentenced to two years confinement in the State Jail Division of TDCJ, probated for four years with standard probation conditions, and was ordered to pay a $1,000 fine and $180 restitution to the Department of Public Safety laboratory after pleading guilty to the state jail felony of possession of controlled substance less than 1 gram; Gerardo Isai Dominguez, 18, of Cameron, was placed on three years deferred adjudication with standard probation conditions, including community service at the animal shelter, after pleading guilty to the third-degree felony of cruelty to non-livestock animal; Brandi Elaine Dyer, 35, of Rockdale, was sentenced to 15 months confinement in the State Jail Division of TDCJ after pleading "true" to a motion to revoke probation for the original state jail felony of possession of a controlled substance less than 1 gram; Vicky Fields, 45, of Pflugerville, was sentenced to 12 months confinement in the State Jail Division of TDCJ after pleading "true" to a motion to revoke probation for the original state jail felony of possession of controlled substance less than 1 gram; Jose Belem Gonzales, 77, of Cameron, was placed on 5 years deferred adjudication with standard probation conditions, including a substance abuse evaluation and treatment, successful completion of anger management, and forfeiture of the .22-caliber rifle used in the offense, after pleading guilty to the second-degree felony of aggravated assault with deadly weapon; Michael Dean Grubbs II, 40, of Ennis, was placed on 2 years deferred adjudication with standard probation conditions, including a $1,000 fine, after pleading guilty to the Class A misdemeanor of attempted reckless injury to child; Juan Jose Lemus Henriquez, also known as Juan Henrique-Lemus, 17, of Cameron, was sentenced to 180 days confinement in the Milam County Jail after pleading guilty to the state jail felony offense of possession of a controlled substance less than 1 gram; Braylon Jovan Knoxson, 43, of Caldwell, was placed on 4 years deferred adjudication with standard drug offender probation conditions after pleading guilty to the third-degree felony of possession of controlled substance, 1-4 grams; Jennifer Suzanne Merkle, 52, of Rockdale, was sentenced to 10 years confinement in TDCJ, probated for 5 years with standard drug offender probation conditions, including no contact with the victim and successful completion of anger management, after pleading guilty to the third-degree felony of injury to elderly; and William Willie Templin, 51, of Cameron, was sentenced to 2 years confinement in TDCJ after pleading "true" to a motion to revoke probation for the original third-degree felony of possession of controlled substance, 1-4 grams.
