Агент по недвижимости из Картерсвилля включена в программу послов «Корни в Джорджии»

Leah Harper was both surprised and honored to be named to Georgia REALTORS' Rooted in Georgia Ambassador Program. The Cartersville resident serves as an associate broker/partner and Realtor at H&H Realty. “I was floored,” Harper said, referring to her reaction to learning she was selected. “It is such an honor to be considered for this type of recognition having spent so much of my career being involved in my community. This program is meaningful — it celebrates the connection between Realtors and the communities we call home. “As Realtors, our work is about so much more than buying and selling property — we are building lifelong relationships, we are helping people put down roots in the very communities where we live, work and raise our families. Giving back allows us to strengthen relationships, understand the need for our neighbors and help shape the future of our community.” Harper was chosen to represent Region 1 — Northwest Metro Association of Realtors. “Selected from each of the organization’s 13 regions, along with the recipient of the 2026 GAR Good Neighbor Award, these ambassadors exemplify what it means to be deeply rooted in the neighborhoods, towns and cities they serve,” according to a news release from Georgia REALTORS, also known as as Georgia Association of REALTORS (GAR). “Through their volunteerism, civic engagement and dedication to helping others, each honoree has helped strengthen communities across Georgia.” Brianne Drake, GAR’s 2026 president, shared Harper’s “story captures the heart” of the Rooted in Georgia campaign. “She grew up in Bartow County, built her career there and continues to give back to the community she calls home,” Drake said. “Whether she’s leading a local organization, coaching young athletes or supporting community initiatives, Leah shows us that Realtors have a unique opportunity to make a difference in the places where we live, work and serve.” GAR highlighted Harper’s community service work on its website, https://consumers.garealtor.com. “She serves as the 2026 Chair of the Cartersville-Bartow County Chamber of Commerce, where she has also served on the board of directors for the past four years,” the website stated. “She previously served on the Board of Trustees for Advocates for Children from 2022 to 2025 and has been an active member of the Development Authority of Bartow County since 2024. “Her additional leadership roles include serving as Chair of the Grants Committee for the Northwest Georgia Community Foundation in 2026, membership on the Bartow County Board of Zoning Appeals and Variances, and ongoing volunteer support for Cartersville City Schools. Leah has also dedicated nearly two decades to coaching youth sports through Cartersville Parks & Recreation, where she has volunteered since 2006.” Harper, 44, started selling real estate around 20 years ago. “My dad, Charley Harper, made a career change and obtained his real estate license in 2003,” she said. “Around the same time, he and Mark Harris founded H&H Realty. “Watching them build the business sparked my own interest in real estate, and a few years later, I decided to follow in their footsteps and earned my real estate license in 2006. Real estate gave me the opportunity to combine several things that are important to me — building relationships, helping people, solving problems and being involved in the community.” Her workplace, H&H Realty, is located at 700 Douthit Ferry Road, Suite 770, in Cartersville. “I sell all types of properties from vacant land to commercial buildings,” Harper said. “I personally like to stick to Bartow County and surrounding counties, [they] are the areas that I work. These are the areas I know best. “What I enjoy the most about being a Realtor is the relationships I have built along the way. Real estate is ultimately about people and I love having the opportunity to help someone through such an important chapter in their life. These relationships are meaningful, I often see repeat clients and referrals from past clients. There’s something very special about knowing people you trust enough to come back or recommend you to others.”
