В Маркетте пройдет шестой ежегодный фестиваль «Искусство на горе» с работами 30 художников

MARQUETTE, Mich. (WLUC) - Marquette Mountain will host an event this weekend for those looking for new art pieces to add to their collections. The 6th annual Art on the Mountain will be held this Friday and Saturday at Marquette Mountain. Around 30 artists will feature their works for guests to purchase. The artists come from the U.P., downstate and Wisconsin. For $15, guests can journey to the top of the mountain on the ski lift and hike back down. The Mountain’s Guest Services Supervisor Holly Tyler hopes those who come out get to see how talented the local arts scene is here in Marquette. “We have so many amazing creative minds in this area; we just like to support our local artists and give them another place to showcase their art in the area,” Tyler said. The event will be free for all to attend. It will be held from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Friday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday. The video above will feature the TV6 livestream until staff can clip the corresponding story, if available, from broadcasts or other TV6 content.
