Арнольд Шварценеггер готовит тело к съемкам «Конана» в 2027 году

King Conan won’t begin filming until 2027, but Arnold Schwarzenegger is already making moves to prepare for the Conan the Barbarian sequel, a source tells Globe. “He wants to shock people with his physique,” reveals the source. “He’s deep into the workouts, he’s pushing his nutrition to the limits, and he’s keeping his mind sharp.” Back in May, the legendary action star, 79, told TheArnoldFans that he still works out, not just once but twice a day. “So for me, to get on the set and to swing the sword around again and to ride the horses and all those things doesn’t mean anything, because I feel like I did thirty years ago,” he explained. Schwarzenegger has, of course, inevitably aged over the years, as has Conan in the long-awaited follow-up film, which will take place 40 years into his reign, per TheArnoldFans, with Oscar-winning filmmaker Christopher McQuarrie ( The Usual Suspects, Mission Impossible: The Final Reckoning ) set to write and direct. “Arnold is chomping at the bit to make a great movie, like his hits in the eighties and nineties, and he’s willing to push himself to the absolute limits to do it,” continues the source. “He’s been through open heart surgery, a divorce … but he’s still standing and he’s still willing to prove himself.” The Terminator star, whose decades-long marriage to Maria Shriver ended amid scandal in 2011, “isn’t messing around” either, the source adds. “He [wants to remind] people all over the world why he became a movie star in the first place.” Join 70,000+ readers who get The Daily Enquirer delivered to their inbox.
