Arkona Technologies has entered an OEM partnership with BFE Studio und Medien Systeme GmbH to offer Arkona-branded control panels for its SDI-IP routing systems. The panels will be shown at IBC 2026 in Amsterdam, Sept. 11-14, where Arkona and technology partner Manifold will share Stand 8.A69. Arkona said the agreement follows rising demand from customers for Arkona-labeled control panels as its EASY-IP concept has gained traction in the market. The company said it has seen growing interest from broadcasters building larger SDI-IP routers and needing both software and hardware control solutions. BFE, a member of the Broadcast Solutions Group, said it has more than 50 years of experience in broadcast and media technology and has long manufactured its KSC line of control and management solutions. The company said its control panels have been installed across Europe, Asia, North Africa and the Middle East. Arkona said its existing control interfaces, including NMOS and Ember+, already let system integrators and end users work with panels from third-party suppliers. But the company said larger router systems have increased demand for end-to-end solutions carrying the Arkona brand. Arkona said it has already been controlling BFE-labeled panels through its EasyIP BLADE//master control software, including installations at major live sports events over the past year. That, the company said, made the OEM partnership a natural fit because compatibility, usability, build quality and reliability had already been proven in the field. Wiggo Evensen, Arkona sales and partner manager, said BFE was an obvious partner because the company maintains full control of design and production in Germany and has decades of experience in broadcast technology. He said: “As a fellow German company who take pride in maintaining full control of design and production within their home country, and who have decades of experience and expertise in what they do, BFE were an obvious partner choice. Being able to provide end-to-end management of the production space using fully Arkona-branded equipment is really important to us.” Franz Fehberger, senior technical sales manager at BFE Studio und Medien Systeme, said Arkona chose BFE because both companies share a commitment to robust, flexible and usable solutions. “We are proud to have been selected as Arkona’s OEM partner for this new expansion to their range,” Fehberger said. “The beauty of Arkona’s FPGA-accelerated, software configurable solutions is that they provide absolute workflow flexibility.” The companies said the Arkona-branded control panels will be delivered starting Oct. 1.
