В Арканзасе запустили масштабную кампанию по набору сотрудников в службу защиты детей

Arkansas DCFS launches statewide hiring push for child welfare roles LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KATV) — The Arkansas Department of Human Services (DHS) Division of Children and Family Services is ramping up its approach to recruit more professionals into critical child welfare positions. Through a new statewide hiring campaign, DCFS will engage in connecting with potential applicants on social media and post content revolving around a new job-oriented webpage while also hosting recruitment webinars. As virtual events occur, job seekers will gain insight on more public service opportunities. “This work is hard, but it’s critically important,” DHS Secretary Janet Mann said. “Every day, our DCFS teams across the state visit homes to ensure that children are protected and to provide resources for families to thrive. It takes a special kind of person to do this work well, and we hope this campaign helps us identify talented individuals who are ready to join the team and make a real difference in our state.” According to a release, the campaign was designed to fill essential vacancies throughout the state that further DCFS’ mission to protect children and strengthen families. Highlighted in the hiring campaign includes positions such as Social Services Assistant, Social Services Specialist, and Social Services Supervisor. Those listed, as well as additional positions, received increases in base salary pay which stemmed from Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders' state government pay plan last year. Annual pay for positions that will be advertised in the hiring campaign range from approximately $35,000 to $93,000 annually. “These front-line roles provide critical support to Arkansas children and families who may be facing difficult circumstances,” said DCFS Director Tiffany Wright said. “While the work can be demanding, joining DCFS offers an opportunity to make a lasting and meaningful impact in communities throughout the state. And we offer great pay, strong benefits, and the chance to grow your career in a rewarding way.” Those interested in learning more about career opportunities with DCFS can click here.
