Участница «Миллионерша» Лиза Зиссман призналась, что «обманула» дочь, предложив за экзамены £1500

The Apprentice’s Luisa Zissman says ‘I’ve been shafted’ after offering daughter up to £1,500 per GCSE Luisa Zissman might have touted herself as a business brain on The Apprentice but she admitted being "shafted" in a big-money deal with her own daughter over her GCSE results. In the latest episode of her LuAnna podcast, she revealed that she ended up having to dip into her purse to incentivise the teenager to work hard with £1,500 on offer for every 9 grade - the modern equivalent of an A*. Speaking to co-host Anna Williamson, she cheered: “She wanted to change schools, she wants to go to a different boarding school and she had to get 6s and 7s minimum to get in - and she got all 6s and 7s. “I was quite shocked because her mocks weren’t great. I do think the mocks worked in her favour in the sense of, “f**k I need to work!” … She got better [than her predicted grades] and she did work so hard.” Luisa, who is also mum to Indigo and Clementine, explained that, because Dixie’s mock exam results weren’t what they expected, she decided to offer the youngster a lot of money to get her head down. “To incentivise her, to work hard,” she continued. “Because I really want to teach them that in life, if you work hard, you get good financial rewards. The harder you work, the more you earn, normally... I know that that's not always the case. “It wasn't too ridiculous… I said if she got a nine, I would give her £1,500. She didn’t get a nine... She told me that all the kids were getting it at school. I'm such a mug!” In fact, the Celebrity Big Brother star also promised to pay out £1,000 for every eight, £500 for a seven and £250 for a six. She explained that she would deduct money from the overall pot if Dixie got below a four in any exam. Luisa lived up to her end of the bargain and gave her daughter £2,750 - but revealed that some of the marks were close to the upper boundaries, and that her school teachers have since suggested getting the papers remarked. However, the mum-of-three realised that she was the only parent to offer such high sums as an incentive, after an enlightening conversation with Dixie’s friends on the way to Reading festival. She recalled: “All the other kids were like, "Oh, Dixie, you just got loads of money." And I was like, "Did none of you get that? Because Dixie told me that everyone was getting that at school." “I just thought, well, private school they do that, don't they?' Turns out none of them did. Eight kids in the car. I've been well shafted. But I actually don't care because I think it did incentivise her to work well. And it does show her that hard work pays off.” Luisa shares Dixie with ex Oliver Zissman, while she has welcomed Clementine and Indigo with husband Andrew Collins. Despite the pay-out, she beamed with joy in an Instagram video last month, in which the student could be seen receiving her results. “I’m so proud of my baby. She is amazing, hard work pays off and she worked so hard to achieve the results she wanted and exceeded everyone’s expectations,” she said at the time. “Dixie Lola you’re a rockstar. Never stop pushing, never stop working hard & achieving your dreams and goals, I could burst with pride.” Like this story?
