Amaron Supports Trucking Community Through Health, Safety and Fleet Awareness Drive in Delhi . New Delhi, August 19, 2026: Amara Raja Energy & Mobility Limited, manufacturer of Amaron Batteries, in collaboration with its authorised franchise partners and the Federation of Sanjay Gandhi Transport Nagar, conducted a three-day health and awareness programme for the transportation community in Delhi from August 17 to 19.  Held at Sanjay Gandhi Transport Nagar, the initiative brought together truck drivers, transporters and Group owners around issues linked to occupational health, eye care, road safety and efficient fleet operations.  A key component of the programme was a free health and eye screening camp, through which more than 500 people underwent wellness check-ups. The initiative highlighted the importance of routine health monitoring and proper eye care for truck drivers, whose work requires long hours on the road and sustained attention to driving conditions.  The programme also included technical inspections of trucks and awareness sessions for transporters and fleet owners. Discussions focused on practical aspects of fleet operations, including managing operating costs, improving vehicle efficiency, strengthening Collection management practices and supporting business profitability.  The campaign opened with a Transporters’ Meet that brought industry stakeholders together to discuss challenges concerning road safety, transportation operations and the well-being of drivers.
