They will take on two-thirds of the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Champions, Blake Christian and Lee Johnson. Athena will also wrestle Isla Dawn in an ROH Women’s World Championship Proving Ground match. If Dawn can go the time limit or defeat Athena, she’ll earn a future shot at the title. The Young Bucks will be in action, coming off their loss to Cage and Cope at All In. They’ll face Brian Cage and Jake Doyle of the Don Callis Family. Also of the Don Callis Family, Kevin Knight and Kyle Fletcher will team together as they go up against Juice Robinson and Ace Austin of the Bang Bang Gang. Also, Nick Wayne goes up against Komander, and former AEW World Trios Champions Hangman Page, Bandido, and Brody King will be in action. Our live coverage kicks off at 8 p.m. Eastern. *************** It’s Saturday Night and you know what that means! At least you’d know if you were watching the first AEW Collision after All In, which I’m doing for you, so take it easy, why don’t ya? Lots happening on this show including a bunch of title matches, a Proving Ground bout and some Trios action! But first: The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson) vs The Don Callis Family (Brian Cage & Jake Doyle) So, these guys from the Don Callis family are big. Like, really big. The Young Bucks? Not so much. But that’s never stopped them before. The Bucks didn’t win the AEW Tag Titles at All In, but they get another shot at All Out, so watch out for that. Cage and Doyle jumped Matt and Nick mid-pose and pulled them off the turnbuckles, sending Nick to the outside while Cage and Doyle double teamed Matt in the corner. Matt got a tag to Nick who took on both Doyle and Cage. Matt joined him and they double teamed them. Doyle and Cage, not to be outdone, double teamed them right back. Tags seemed to be relatively unimportant at this point as the Bucks sent Doyle and Cage to the outside. Matt hit them with a double dropkick through the ropes and then Nick flipped over the tope rope onto both of them. Matt went to kick Doyle in the face on the apron, but Cage caught him with a gigantic suplex. Cage and Nick stayed legal as Cage did some curls with Nick then thew him to the mat. He then went to a knee to the face. Cage worked Nick through a commercial break and then went for a cross body. Cage caught him in a fireman’s carry, but Nick countered it into a Canadian Destroyer. Nick got a tag to Matt who took on Cage and Doyle with right hands. Nick hit a DDT on Doyle after using him as a run up for one on Cage. The Bucks hit the High Five bulldogs and went up top for the tandem elbow/senton, but Cage kicked out at two. The Bucks started spamming Superkicks, but then Cage and Doyle started a comeback with Doyle countering a hurricanrana into a powerbomb. CAge came in but Nick countered his powerbomb into a facebuster. The Superkick Party chopped Doyle to the mat and they Hit him with a trigger, getting the pin and winning the match to pick up some momentum heading towards All Out. Match Result: The Young Bucks defeated The Don Callis Family -Backstage, Will Nightengale gave Mercedes Mone her props for their match at All In. Willow said even though she lost, she will keep fighting to get the belt back. She addressed what Thekla and Mone had to say on Wednesday and invited them to say it to her face. Adam Page & Brodido (Bandido & Brody King) vs Braddah Kaimi, LBJ & Vin Parker To start the match, Tony Schiovane said that DC comics should give Hangman and Brodido their own graphic novel. Jokes on you Tony, Hangman was in the epic (ly stupid) AEW x DC book that came out this spring! Anyway, King started off against, I dunno, let’s say Parker, and chopped him to death. The other two came in to help and he did the same to them. They stacked up in the corner and Bandido hit them with an assisted cannonball and then King did the same. Page hit a Dead Eye on Parker and the 517-day Ring of Honor Champion Bandido finished it off with a frog splash. Huzzah! Match Result: Adam Page & Brodido defeated Braddah Kaimi, LBJ & Vin Parker -The Bang Bang Gang addressed not winning any gold at All In, saying that there’s new blood in the Trio’s divison, the New Level. Robinson then called out The Protostar about their match tonight with a hilarious deodorant joke. The told the Callis family in general that they are going to get it tonight. Gunns up! -Back from break, the Brawling Birds offered Divine Dominion another shot at the tag titles at All Out, in a Chigago Street Fight. Nick Wayne vs Komander Wayne took control off the top, but Komander’s speed countered that quickly and after a few armdrags, Wayne bailed from the ring. He got back in and Komander pounced. Wayne countered though with a snap suplex. Back from break, Wayne had Komander in a headlock. Komander elbowed his way out and went off the ropes, but Wayne saw it coming and laid him out. Komander started a comeback, but Wayne kept control until Komander hit him with a DDT after a kick to the midsection. Komander hit WAyne with a dropkick and then a 619. He hit a Mexican Destroyer, sending Wayne out of the ring. Komander flipped off the top rope directly onto him before tossing him back into the ring. Komander went up top for the Lindo, but Wayne got the knees up and covered him for a two count. Komander went for a casadora, but Wayne countered wit a dragon suplex. Komander went off the top rope with a headbutt, but Wayne caught him with a cutter, some would say out of nowhere. He hit a Fishermanbuster on Komander and made the cover for three. Match Result: Nick Wayne defeated Komander After the match, Chris Jericho snuck into the ring and wiped out Wayne with a Judas Effect. -BAckstage, Lexy Nair interviewed the Conglomeration. Kyle O’Reilly started talking about backpacks and then Roderick Strong left. Konosoke Takeshita who was also there said that he is the Alpha. AEW TBS Title Match: Persephone (c) w/Britt Baker vs Vertvixen Persephone is also the CMLL Women’s champion and picked up the TBS title from Maya World in London at All In. Baker joined commentary for the match. They locked up and Persephone shoved Vert into the corner. Vert shoved her back and Persephone came out of the corner with headbutts and strikes. Vert shoved her into the corner again and then dropped her with a shoulder off the ropes. Persephone got tripped up as the crossed from the ropes and Vert got herself a two count. Very went off the second rope, but Persephone caught her and threw her in a back body drop. She followed that up with a dropkick for two. Back from a break, Persephone had Vert in a choke, and Commentary let us know that Don Callis was mad about the Bucks win and was calling Tony Khan. Vert got out of the hold and clocked Persephone in the face. Persephone returned the favor and then walked into a spin kick from Vert. Vert hit one hell of a kick in the corner and then a powerbomb for two. Vert went for a suplex, but PErsephone countered and then hit her with a dropkick. Persephone picked up Very and nailed her with a Razors Edge to get the win and retain the TBS title. Match Result: Persephone defeated Vertvixen After the match, Baker and Persephone stomped Vert. Before Baker could put the lockjaw on Vert, Maya World showed up and she didn’t come alone. Thunder Rosa ran down and Persephone and Baker turned tail and ran. The Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin) vs The Swirl (Blake Christian & Lee Johnson) Two-thirds of the ROH Six-Man Champions and sole holders of the Worst Name Ever Championship, The Swirl faced off against MCMG who were making their official AEW in-ring debut (or is it All-in ring debut?). The Swirl’s pants said “The Twist” leading me to wonder if they are having an identity crisis of sorts. Johnson and Shelley started things off and Shelley quickly got an armbar on. Johnson fought out of it and got a tag to Christian. Sabin tagged in and they double teamed Christian’s face into the turnbuckle. Sabin hit an armdrag and spun Christian into a crucifix for two. Christian got a dropkick on Sabin and tagged in Johnson. Sabin tagged in Shelley and all four fought until Sabin hit a backfist on Christian and sent him to the outside. MCMG double teamed Johnson and then Shelley threw him through the ropes. Christian tried to help, but got sent out too, just in time to get hit by a double baseball slide. Then Sabin dove onto them. Back from break, Sabin took a hot tag from Shelley and hit a double crossbody on the Swirl/Twist. He planted Johnson with a DDT and then kicked Christian in the face on the apron. Sabin hit another DDT on Johnson, this time from the top rope. Shelley tagged in and Johnson fought back, but fell to the Match Result: The Motor City Machine Guns defeated The Swirl -After the match, “Jungle” Jack Perry joined us to declare the he will be come the AEW World Champion, even though it might cause some people to “piss their pants with rage.” -Back from break, The Demand joined us to tell us that All In was a disaster. The New Level aren’t even a real trio! They said that New Level got lucky against them at All In. Then Kaun yelled at the camera. It was a lot. AEW National Title Match: Andrade El Idolo (c) vs Gabe Kidd Andrade had the match of the night at AEW Redemption and since then I’ve been watching him closely as he ascends the AEW ladder. Kidd got to Andrade off the top though, wrestling him to the mat and then throwing him through the ropes. Kidd followed and kicked Andrade in the back before sending him into the barricade. He raked the face of Andrade (I think he was mad) then took Andrade’s Casino Gauntlet contract and menaced some fans with it. Andrade came back, knocking Kidd’s noggin into the announce table. He chopped him on the barricades then threw him into the ring. Andrade introduced Kidd to his three amigos and Kidd rolled out of the ring. Andrade followed, but took too long on the steps and Kidd shoved him off. Andrade came back though and sent Kidd into the steps. Then he returned to the ring to drop his pants (it’s a thing he does, don’t worry). Kidd climbed back in before Andrade could get his pants off and nearly clotheslined him out of them. Andrade instead grabbed him, asked How You Know? then dropped him. Andrade went up top for a frog splash, but Kidd got his knees up. Andrade shook it off over a break and hit a Tornado DDT on Kidd on the outside. He then took a moment to pose for a selfie with the ring announcer while Kidd got himself back into the ring. Andrade then flirted with the ref to break the count and wend for a moonsault press. Kidd dodged the moonsault, but not the press for a two count. Kidd dodged a charge in the corner and then powerbombed Andrade for a two count of his own. Kidd went for a piledriver, but Andrade reversed it, sending him into the corner for a meteora. Kidd hit a backdrop and went all George Steele on the turnbuckle. He then hit Andrade with a knee, but walked into a back fist off the ropes to give Andrade a two count. Andrade hit him with the DM and 1-2-3, Andrade wins and retains the National Title. Match Result: Andrade El Idolo defeated Gabe Kidd After the match, Andrade grabbed a mic and said that since he has the contract, it’s only a matter of time before he’s AEW World Champion. But he will wait for the right time and for now focus on becoming the greatest National Champion of all time. He vowed to defend the title every week and then asked his doubters one question: How you know? -Backstage, Tomasso Ciampa reminisced about his AEW debut. He ran through the list of moments he’s had in AEW, but none were as big as All In. He said that it’s time the Psycho Killer became the Psycho King and collected a new title. ROH Women’s World Title Proving Ground Match: Athena [c] vs Isla Dawn For those not in the know, a Proving Ground match is one in which the challenger attempts to pin or submit a champion or last to a ten minute draw. If they succeed, they get a shot at said title at a later date. These are always great, but especially when Texas’s own Athena is involved. Athena has held the ROH Women’s World title for about 22,000 days or so. They locked up off the top, with Athena throwing Dawn off easily. Dawn came back with some strikes, knocking Athena down, but Athena returned with a pump-kick, sending Dawn to the outside to get kicked in the face. They brawled on the outside until Dawn hit a hard elbow, sending Athena reeling. Athena grabbed her with a throat-chop and then threw her into the barricades repeatedly. Athena threw her back into the ring and started stomping. Dawn tried to roll her up, but that just made Athena mad and she pounded Dawn into the mat. Dawn tried a backslide but Athena kicked out at one. Dawn hit a side suplex and a high knee, but Athena wasn’t done yet. Dawn got her up on her shoulders, but Athena worked out of it. Dawn went up top, but Athena dodged and got her in a twofer suplex. Dawn escaped to the corner, but Athena hit her with a handstand elbow and went up top. Athena hit her with the O-Face and that was in. Athena wins and crushes Dawn’s dreams. Match Result: Athena defeated Isla Dawn Don Callis Family II: Callis Harder (Kevin Knight & Kyle Fletcher) w/Don Callis & Lance Archer vs Bang Bang Gang (Ace Austin & Juice Robinson) The Don Callis Family joined us earlier, so it’s pretty cool to be able to catch the sequel later in the night. Nice to see Lance Archer taking a break from that one ROH Squash match he does as well. Callis joined for commentary. Also, Juice Robinson is calling himself the “Stray Bullet” so that’s neat. Austin and Fletcher started things off with Austin giving up about a foot to Fletcher. They traded wristlocks while Robinson screamed in the corner. Austin got an armdrag takedown and followed it with a dropkick. Knight tagged himself in and told Fletcher to “take a break” as Austin hit him from behind. Knight threw Austin into the corner, but Austin rolled right back out and hit him with a dropkick. Robinson tagged in and hit Knight with an Axehandle. He planted Knight with an atomic drop and then a standing splash for a two count. Robinson hit a sidewalk slam and then Austin came in with a leg drop. Austin kept the BBG in control with and elbow into a headscissor submission. He broke the hold and went off the ropes, but Fletcher ran in and caught him for a slam. Knight and Fletcher argued after Knight dropkicked Robinson off the apron. Back from break, Austin was working Knight and grabbed a tag to Robinson who came in with shoulders for Knight. He knocked Fletcher off the apron and then peppered him with jabs when he came back in. He nailed Knight with the left and then powerbombed him for a two count. Austin went up top, but Fletcher grabbed him, schnutzing him on the turnbuckle. Knight hit a hurrcanrana on Austin and Fletcher came in for a double team. Robinson came back and took Knight to the outside, while Austin got a two count of Fletcher. Austin went for a brainbuster, but Fletcher countered it. Austin hit him with a spin kick, but when he charged, Fletcher caught him with a Michinoku Driver for two. Fletcher looked to CAllis for advice and then got rolled up off a brain buster attempt. Knight slammed Robinson on the outside and Austin kicked him in the face. Fletcher then dropped Austin with a giant kick and then the brain buster combained with a UFO from Knight got them the win. Match Result: Don Callis Family defeated Bang Bang Gang
