ADM expands feed logistics network in Scotland New Port of Greenock facility to boost storage capacity ADM, a global leader in innovative solutions from nature, recently announced the expansion of its Scottish operations with a new storage and berthing capacity at Peel Ports Group's Port of Greenock, a deep-water location that enhances ADM's import, storage and distribution capabilities while strengthening access to key feed ingredients. The expansion builds on ADM's existing operations at King George V Dock in Glasgow. Together, the two locations create a more integrated logistics network on the River Clyde, increasing handling capacity, improving supply chain flexibility and enhancing service for feed customers throughout the region. "Expanding our footprint from Glasgow to Greenock is an important step for ADM's operations in the region," said Jonathan Lane, managing director, ADM Agriculture Ltd and ADM UK Country Manager. "The additional capacity and logistics capability will help us operate more efficiently, strengthen supply chain resilience and support our customers' evolving needs across Scotland. Our relationship with Peel Ports Group has been instrumental in supporting ADM Agriculture's growth in Scotland over recent years." "We are delighted to strengthen our long-standing relationship with ADM through this expansion at the Port of Greenock," added David Huck, chief operating officer, Ports and Marine Peel Ports Group. "ADM is a valued strategic partner, and this investment demonstrates the importance of the Clyde as a gateway for agricultural imports serving Scotland. We look forward to continuing to work together to support growth, efficiency, and resilience across the supply chain." The investment comes as Scotland's feed market continues to evolve, with growing demand for imported feed materials. ADM's expanded presence at Greenock will help meet these changing market needs while supporting the long-term competitiveness of Scottish agriculture. The Greenock facility will be operational later this year.
