Студент Абуджского университета выиграл новый автомобиль на акции MTN Live It 100

A 400-level Chemistry student of Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, Ezekiel Oluwatobi Daniel, has won a brand-new car at the MTN Live It 100 On Campus Tour held at the institution. Daniel emerged as the grand prize winner at the three-day campus activation, which ran from Wednesday, August 26 to Friday, August 28, 2026, making him the third student to win a car since the tour began. The ABU activation, which combined entertainment, digital experiences, entrepreneurship and student engagement, was the third stop on MTN Nigeria’s seven-campus tour of tertiary institutions across the country. The tour had earlier visited Delta State University (DELSU) and Ekiti State University (EKSU), with four other institutions expected to host the activation. Speaking after emerging winner, Daniel described the victory as a dream, saying he did not expect to win the grand prize. “Everything is happening like a dream to me right now because I didn’t believe I was going to win. I feel good. I’m very happy. It just feels like a dream right now. I want to say thank you to MTN for this great opportunity,” he said. Four other ABU students also emerged winners in different categories. Iyiola Oyeleke, a 100-level Mass Communication student, won a laptop, while Victoria Adeleke, a 400-level English and Literature Studies student, emerged second and received a refrigerator. Edeh Godswill Ogbada, a 100-level Language Arts student, placed third and also won a refrigerator, while Moses John, a 200-level Quantity Survey student, came fourth and received a microwave. Speaking during the activation, Senior Manager, Segment Marketing, MTN Nigeria, Temilolu Salako, said the Live It 100 initiative was designed to inspire young Nigerians to pursue their ambitions with confidence and commitment. “Live It 100 is about encouraging young people to bring their best to whatever they choose to pursue. Whether it is academics, entrepreneurship, entertainment or their personal passions, we want them to approach it with confidence, commitment and the belief that they can achieve more,” Salako said. He said the campus activation was designed to go beyond entertainment by providing students with opportunities to learn, explore digital experiences and showcase their entrepreneurial ventures. According to him, the initiative reflects MTN’s commitment to supporting the educational, career and lifestyle aspirations of young Nigerians across tertiary institutions. The activation featured a Digital Game Village with video and board games, immersive photo experiences, product demonstrations, device displays and an SME showcase. Dennis Ukume, Public Relations Officer of the Postgraduate Representative Council, ABU, described the event as one of the university’s standout activities in recent years, particularly praising the transparency of the prize selection process. “What impressed me most was the fairness and openness of the process, which gave students confidence that everyone had an equal opportunity to participate and win. I believe initiatives like this can go a long way towards encouraging students, boosting their confidence and creating memorable campus experiences,” he said. Some students also commended the initiative for combining entertainment with opportunities to learn about MTN’s services. Amira Rukayya Bashir said the programme provided students with an opportunity to relax while learning more about the company’s offerings, while Ezinne Odumegwu noted that the activation came at a time when students needed a break from academic activities. The Live It 100 On Campus Tour is expected to continue to other tertiary institutions as MTN expands its engagement with young Nigerians through entertainment, digital experiences and entrepreneurship-focused activities.
