Arizona Beverages has inked an agreement to distribute Italian beverage brand Ferrarelle's premium mineral waters in the U.S.   The companies will launch a 16.9-ounce format of the Ferrarelle’s sparkling and still waters at U.S. retail and convenience stores, with Arizona acting as the exclusive distributor. Ferrarelle will also debut a flavored sparkling portfolio catered specifically to the U.S. market.  The U.S. collection includes three flavors: Capri Style featuring orange and tangerine flavors; Sicilian Inspiration, which has notes of grapefruit and elderflower flavors; and Amalfi Dream with lemon and basil. Ferrarelle sources its water from the Roccamonfina volcano in Italy, and the beverages are naturally infused with in-demand ingredients including electrolytes, calcium and magnesium.   “Ferrarelle has everything we look for in a partner: an incredible product, a real story and a brand people genuinely connect with,” Spencer Vultaggio, chief marketing officer of Arizona Beverages, said in a statement. “They have been doing this for more than 130 years, and the quality speaks for itself. We are excited to use AriZona’s distribution network to make authentic Italian mineral water more accessible to consumers across the U.S., especially in a format built for how people drink today.” Ferrarelle has been eyeing the U.S. as a potential growth market, and it has made various marketing efforts in the country, including becoming a sponsor of reality TV show “America’s Got Talent.” “The U.S. has long been an important part of Ferrarelle’s international journey, and this partnership marks a new level of ambition for our business in the market,” Carlo Pontecorvo, chairman and CEO of Ferrarelle, said in a statement. “Arizona and Ferrarelle bring complementary strengths and, together, create the conditions to build something neither could achieve alone.”
