В Миссисипи хирурги приобрели историческую марину Mary Walker и планируют её реставрацию

GAUTIER, Miss. (WLOX) — Mary Walker Marina is the oldest continually operating business in Gautier and this year, it’s celebrating 80 years of service. The historic property now has new local ownership: four Jackson County surgeons and an operating manager. They say they’re investing in upgrades and preservation to honor Mary Walker’s history while expanding what the site offers the community. “We want to keep it and bring it back to life that it used to be. Because back in the heyday, the eighties and nineties, this was the place to be. And we all remember it. So we were like, you know, we’re all at that point in our life that we can do something. So our goal was just to make it, make it great again, because it used to be great,” Mike Schwartz, the marina’s general manager and co-owner, said. The business was founded in 1946.
