Совет Сакраменто присвоил статус исторических памятников четырем зданиям

Sacramento designates four properties as historic landmarks The Sacramento City Council has designated four properties as historic landmarks, highlighting their importance to the city’s architectural and cultural history. The designations include a home on 33rd Street in the Oak Park area, built in 1901. The property represents the early development of Sacramento's first "streetcar suburb," which was associated with working-class immigrant families. Another property is a home on 13th Avenue in South Land Park, built in 1928. It is noted as a well-preserved example of Tudor Revival architecture. The Weaver House, located in Sacramento's Fab 40s area, was built in 1941 and is recognized for its distinctive Colonial Revival architecture. The fourth property is the El Dorado School in East Sacramento, an important piece of Sacramento's school history from the 1920s and 1930s. The designations mean major future alterations, demolition, or new development at these properties will have to go through city historic-preservation review.
