While most 17-year-olds are getting ready for their senior year of high school, McKeen is writing her name in the record books. In her second career NWSL start, McKeen scored her first professional goal against Orlando, becoming the youngest goal scorer in club history. “I never would have thought it would happen so soon, but I think my team has definitely helped a lot,” McKeen said. “Their support, their encouragement throughout these months and through the ups and downs has been great.” A top-rated prospect, McKeen was ranked the No. 3 recruit in the Class of 2026 by TopDrawerSoccer.com after reclassifying from the Class of 2027. McKeen initially committed to five-time national champion Florida State before deciding to turn professional and sign with Racing Louisville. “I think with our identity, we have a really high-pressing team, high energy, and I think that fits my style,” McKeen said. “I’m a high-pressing player, forward. I like to go forward, and then I can also come drop in the midfield, as I played against Orlando, and turn and run at players. And I like to score.” Racing Louisville hosts Boston Legacy FC on Saturday at 6:30 p.m.
