Кубинка в Лас-Вегасе пришла в слезы после агрессивной реакции менеджера АЗС на неисправность топливного насоса

A Cuban woman living in Las Vegas took to TikTok to share a distressing experience that left her in tears for more than thirty minutes inside her car. The ordeal began when the manager of a gas station in the southern part of the city reacted aggressively after she complained about a malfunctioning fuel pump. The video, uploaded by @vida_fresitaoficial, details the events of Thursday, August 7, at a gas station located in an area of Las Vegas with a significant homeless population. The woman, who goes by Soy_VIDA, explained that she paid for her gas at the counter, but when she attempted to pump the fuel, the machine wouldn't work. After waiting a few minutes hoping it would activate, she returned inside to inform the attendant. A Confrontation at the Gas Station It was then that the station's manager approached her. "She turned to look at me and said, 'yes, yes, yes,' but in a very ugly, shouted, horrible manner," the woman recounted. The combination of the environment—surrounded by homeless individuals—and the employee’s demeanor frightened her immediately. When she attempted to call the police, the manager's attitude shifted. The manager abruptly opened the gas cap and helped her fill the tank, but the emotional damage was already done. "I felt such a tightness in my chest that I screamed and cried, as you can see in the video, I could barely speak," she described. Emotional Aftermath and Reflection The Cuban woman spent over half an hour crying in her car before she could calm down. She attributes her composed reaction to divine intervention, which she believes prevented her from responding aggressively and escalating the conflict. "In other times, when I didn't know the ways of the Lord or how to face such a situation... I would have gotten into trouble, I might have acted out, and the problem would have grown," she reflected. The nearly four-minute video carries a strong religious and introspective tone. The accompanying description encapsulates this perspective: "The things that God does are incredible. Thank you for giving me discernment, wisdom, and patience during this difficult moment." Wider Context and Similar Experiences This incident took place in an area that highlights the growing homeless crisis in Las Vegas. According to a regional count released in July 2026, Clark County reported 8,859 homeless individuals, a 12% increase from the previous count, with 57% living on the streets without any shelter. This Cuban woman's experience is part of a broader pattern of similar stories shared by immigrants from the island on social media. Just weeks ago, another Cuban in Spain reported being insulted by patrons at a bar's terrace, and in July, a Cuban in Miami recounted receiving derogatory treatment from a store clerk in a video that garnered over 78,000 views. "That's how this country is. You have to breathe, talk to God, step back, and figure out how to solve the problem," concluded the protagonist, whose story amassed nearly 21,900 views and over 1,300 reactions on the platform.
