TerraPay и Deutsche Bank объединились для ускорения международных переводов

TerraPay, a global money movement specialist, has reportedly entered into a collaboration with Deutsche Bank (NYSE:DB) to improve the efficiency and reliability of international fund transfers. The arrangement gives TerraPay access to the bank’s extensive correspondent banking network, advanced payment technologies, and foreign exchange services, enabling smoother cross-border payments. This partnership underscores a broader industry trend in which traditional financial institutions and specialized fintech providers join forces to address longstanding challenges in cross-border payments. Demand for faster, more transparent, and dependable international transfers continues to rise among banks, digital wallet operators, money transfer firms, corporates, and other fintech platforms. Through the new relationship, TerraPay can leverage Deutsche Bank’s correspondent banking capabilities and payments infrastructure to reinforce its own settlement processes. The agreement places particular emphasis on improving the speed and reliability of US-dollar settlements, a critical component of global transactions. By integrating these resources, TerraPay strengthens its ability to support customers worldwide while expanding the reach and resilience of its payment network. TerraPay already connects more than 7.5 billion bank accounts across over 156 countries. It also operates Xend, its payments interoperability network that facilitates secure, real-time transfers to and from more than 3.7 billion mobile wallets via a single connection. Adding Deutsche Bank’s capabilities is expected to further improve settlement efficiency and open additional market opportunities. Ambar Sur, Founder and CEO of TerraPay, highlighted the strategic value of such alliances. “The future of cross-border payments will be built through collaboration between global financial institutions and purpose-built fintech infrastructure,” he said. “Our relationship with Deutsche Bank brings together the strength of one of the world’s leading banks with TerraPay’s global payment network, creating new opportunities to improve settlement efficiency, expand market reach and deliver superior payment experiences for customers around the world.” Majed Julfar, Chief Country Officer for the UAE at Deutsche Bank, expressed the bank’s support for the initiative. “By combining Deutsche Bank’s correspondent banking, payments and foreign exchange capabilities with TerraPay’s network, this partnership will help facilitate more efficient and reliable payment flows.” Both organizations view the collaboration as a foundation for future initiatives to further advance global payment connectivity and meet changing customer requirements. TerraPay, headquartered in London with offices in cities including Dubai, Milan, Miami, Singapore, Bogotá, Johannesburg, Kampala and Bangalore, continues its mission to create a more borderless financial environment by offering instant, transparent and compliant money movement solutions. Deutsche Bank, a German bank with strong European roots and a worldwide presence, provides a wide range of retail, corporate, transaction banking, lending, asset management and investment banking services. The partnership represents a practical step toward more seamless international payments at a time when businesses and individuals increasingly expect reliable and efficient ways to move funds across borders.
