Глава совета округа Хэверинг требует запуска второй маршрутной линии Superloop

A brand new Superloop bus route launching in Havering this weekend has been deemed "not enough" by the council leader who is "lobbying for a second" route.
The SL12 is arriving on the roads of Havering from tomorrow (September 5) and will connect Gants Hill with Rainham.
The express service will run through Romford, serving key stops including Queen’s Hospital, Elm Park and Tesco in Rainham but leader of Havering Council Keith Prince believes more is needed to connect the borough.
Cllr Prince said: “I welcome that Transport for London (TfL), and the Greater London Authority are actually investing in transport infrastructure in the borough.
"Unfortunately, it is not enough.
"We know that Havering has been overlooked and underserved for many years.
"This is a first step but more needs to be done connecting the north and south of the borough.
"In addition, the new Superloop should be extended to reach the whole of the BID area and connect to the new Beam Park station.
"As part of this we need additional fast bus connections and I will be lobbying for a second Superloop to reach those parts missed by the current service.”

TfL confirmed it will "monitor and review" the SL12 to increase its understanding of customers' use of the service and will work with Havering Council to "improve and adapt" it where necessary.
SL12 buses will run every 12 minutes during the day from Monday to Saturday, and every 15 minutes on Sundays, evenings, and early mornings.
The new route was initially proposed in spring 2025 as part of TfL’s plans to expand its Superloop network.
Following a public consultation, TfL confirmed in September last year that the SL12 had been approved and would serve Havering from the end of this summer.
On August 20 this year, TfL confirmed to the Recorder that the new route would debut on September 5.
TfL also revealed that pay-as-you-go passengers will travel for free during the service’s first week.

When asked to respond to Cllr Prince's comments, a TfL spokesperson said the transport body was "always looking" at how to improve and adapt the bus network.
They said: "The brand new SL12 launches this Saturday, with free travel for the first week, and marks the network's first expansion into Havering, connecting Ferry Lane Industrial Estate to the bus network for the first time.
"The SL12 is an express bus which complements existing bus routes in the surrounding area.
"As with all new routes, we will monitor and review all Superloop routes to build our understanding of how customers are using the network, working with local councils, including Havering, to improve and adapt the bus network across the capital in the future.”
