Salisbury is set to celebrate its 800th anniversary with a stunning floral display.
Residents, community groups and organisations are invited to help transform the city’s Guildhall with colourful floral arrangements as part of a floral showcase marking 800 years since the city was granted its Royal Charter.
The event will take place from July 23 to July 26, 2027, and will be the first of its kind to take place inside the Guildhall.
Cllr Jenny Bolwell, Mayor of Salisbury, said: "Whether you are an experienced flower arranger, keen to try something new, able to volunteer your time or interested in supporting the showcase in another way, we would love to hear from you.

"Together, we can create a memorable celebration that brings colour, creativity and community spirit to the heart of the city."
The showcase forms part of Salisbury City Council’s wider Salisbury 800 programme, a year-long series of events and activities honouring the city’s past, present and future.
Salisbury City Council is working with floral experts Michael Bowyer MBE and Debbie Wadge to deliver the event.
Mr Bowyer, an internationally recognised floral artist, has designed major flower festivals at Salisbury, Winchester and Canterbury cathedrals.
He was awarded an MBE for services to flower arranging and charity.
Ms Wadge is an award-winning floral designer and national judge based in Salisbury.
She has earned RHS Gold medals at Chelsea and Malvern, and contributed to floral festivals at Salisbury Cathedral, Winchester Cathedral and Kensington Palace.
Volunteers can get involved in a variety of ways, including flower arranging, stewarding, sponsorship or contributing to a craft project for display.
There is no cost to take part as an arranger, as materials will be provided, and no previous floral arranging experience is required.
Individuals and groups are welcome to apply, and those who wish to arrange flowers will be needed in the weeks leading up to the event.
Specific dates will be confirmed later.
Participants will receive guidance from the expert team, making the opportunity suitable for both beginners and experienced arrangers.
The showcase will be free for the public to visit.
Those interested in taking part are encouraged to complete the expression of interest form on Salisbury City Council’s Salisbury 800 webpage.
Paper copies are available from the Salisbury Information Centre.
Further details about the Salisbury 800 celebrations and the wider programme of events can be found on the Experience Salisbury website.
