Звезда TikTok из США влюбилась в акцент и жителей Ньюкасла, сравнив город с домом

An American TikTok star with millions of followers has spoken of his affection for the North East after travelling across Britain. Kalani Ghost Hunter, known online as KGH, made the comments during an appearance on the popular JaackMaate’s Happy Hour podcast, where he was discussing some of his favourite places in the UK. The content creator, who boasts around 3.4million followers on TikTok, singled out Newcastle first as one of the "top three UK cities". The viral man, who resides in Nashville but was born in Las Vegas, said: “I love Newcastle; It reminds me of home. "Obviously the accent is out there - a lot different than back home." The influencer went on to explain that the city’s distinctive accent was one of the reasons he enjoyed visiting, joking that he could happily listen to Geordies speak all day. He said: “Any time I hear them say ‘cookie, I’m like, say it again; I love the way they say cookie.” Kalani and his wife have visited the city during trips around the UK, and he said they were struck by how people in Newcastle cope with colder weather. The American creator, 27, suggested locals appeared unfazed by freezing temperatures, even when heading out for the evening. Recalling one visit he said: "Me and my wife went. It was cold outside and she had a jacket on and they’re like, ‘you’re not from here, are you?’" The creator’s comments gained a lot of attention online, with one person commenting: “Newcastle is one of the friendliest places to visit.” Read more The North East town that shaped Soccer Saturday star pal of Chris Kamara Netflix's Charlie Hunnam's shines spotlight on vibrant Malaysian restaurant in Durham Odd 'icing on cake' moment man spotting asleep in £328k Whitley Bay house listing Another person took to social media to say: “Yay!
