Центр наблюдения за дельфинами в Шотландии получил четыре звезды за качество обслуживания

The Scottish Dolphin Centre at Spey Bay has been awarded four stars for its visitor experience under a new quality scheme. The centre, operated by Whale and Dolphin Conservation (WDC), received the rating from the Association of Scottish Visitor Attractions (ASVA) following an independent assessment. The award recognises the quality of the experience provided across the attraction, including its tours, exhibitions, café and shop. The Scottish Dolphin Centre welcomed around 66,000 visitors in 2025 and gives people the opportunity to see bottlenose dolphins in the wild. It also provides information about whales and dolphins found in Scottish waters and the work being carried out by WDC to protect them. The attraction has previously received a Tripadvisor Travelers’ Choice Award, as well as an Employer Recognition Award from Developing the Young Workforce. "Four stars is a clear indication that our team provide a brilliant time for those who visit, take in one of our tours or exhibitions, and spend time in our café and shop. "We are given no prior notice of the assessor’s visit, so we need to provide this high level of quality across the whole season. "We consistently receive good feedback from our visitors, telling us how much they enjoy seeing bottlenose dolphins in the wild and discovering how WDC works tirelessly to protect them. "It’s wonderful to have this good feedback verified by an independent assessment." Michael Golding, CEO of ASVA, said: "Congratulations to the team at WDC’s Scottish Dolphin Centre on achieving their award. "This result and reflects the thought and commitment that goes into creating a memorable experience for visitors to Spey Bay. "The ASVA Quality Scheme is about recognising excellence while giving attractions practical, independent insight to help them continue to develop and strengthen their visitor experience. "It’s particularly encouraging to see the Scottish Dolphin Centre embracing that opportunity and using the assessment not simply as an award, but as a tool to support their ambitions for the future."
