Натуралист Крис Пэкхэм представит свой новый тур в Бэсингстоке в ноябре

Award-winning Hampshire TV presenter Chris Packham will take to the stage in Basingstoke this November. The naturalist and broadcaster is bringing his new tour, Chris Packham’s World of Wonder: A Planet on the Edge, to The Anvil in Basingstoke on November 17. Over the last four decades, he has become the voice and face of wildlife in the UK through his shows like The Really Wild Show and Springwater. He has devoted his life to nature and trying to inspire others to do the same. The show celebrates the natural world and the power of curiosity. Mr Packham will open his “cabinet of curiosities”, revealing extraordinary specimens from his collection and stories from a lifetime devoted to nature. He told the Chronicle: “People can expect extraordinary things about wildlife and the natural world. I hope the show brings entertainment, education, and empowerment.” The tour aims to entertain nature lovers and people fighting to protect it. Mr Packham, raised in Southampton, is also a prominent environmentalist, naturalist and campaigner. He said that he had seen “catastrophic changes” to the environment during his lifetime. “The world sounds, smells, and looks completely different… a lot of things have disappeared and are disappearing.” He hopes the show will leave people feeling “important and like they can make a difference, because they can”.
