В Болтоне пройдет благотворительный вечер с участием внука Эда и Лоррейн Уоррен и сеансами таро

Ghost hunts, tarot readings and tales of haunted locations will all feature at a paranormal charity night being held in Bolton. Bolton-based Para-Northern Investigations is hosting the charity event at Dunscar Golf Club on September 12, with the night raising money for SANDS, the pregnancy and baby loss charity. Among the guest speakers will be Chris McKinnell, grandson of renowned paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren, whose cases inspired The Conjuring film universe. McKinnell, who has spent more than four decades investigating paranormal phenomena, will appear at the Bolton event via live video link. Para-Northern founder Emma Flood said the event had already attracted plenty of interest. She said: “We've sold quite a lot of tickets. “We've got Maura Jackson, who used to work at Back Up North West, hosting the paranormal quiz and the prize is to win a place on an investigation with us. “We've got Ed and Lorraine Warren's grandson as a guest speaker along with Jamie Williams from Mill Street Barracks discussing the location and what hauntings have happened there. “We also have a special guest who has a large social media following in the paranormal field too.” Jamie Williams, who looks after Mill Street Barracks, will speak about the location and reports of paranormal activity there. The barracks has previously featured on paranormal television programme Paranormal Lockdown UK, with Williams appearing in an episode about the location. A raffle will offer another ghost-hunting opportunity, with two tickets worth £100 to investigate Wincham Hall with The Occult Family among the prizes. Other prizes include a Para-Northern hoodie, a book about Mill Street Barracks and £35 to spend with Crystalised by Gem. Gemma Nuttall will also be carrying out tarot readings during the evening, while Alternative Finch will be selling jewellery. Food for the event has been donated by Burnden Pie Shop. Para-Northern Investigations was established in Bolton in 2017 and carries out investigations at locations where paranormal activity has been reported. Tickets cost £5, with proceeds going to charity.
