В сентябре стартовала акция «Любим старый город» в Саутгемптоне с уникальными предложениями и скидками

Special offers and events are lighting up Southampton’s historic Old Town this September. Part of the Love The Old Town campaign, the initiative runs throughout the month and aims to encourage visitors and residents to explore the city’s cultural heart. Organised by GO! Southampton, the scheme includes a range of promotions designed to showcase the area's unique character and heritage. Stephen Manion, executive director at GO! Southampton, said: "We’re so pleased to see the return of the Old Town campaigns. "Venues have reported a huge increase in footfall to several vibrant hotspots around the city with previous campaigns, as residents and visitors enjoy spending more time here." The campaign features exclusive offers from a range of venues, including 20 per cent off tickets at The 1865 and discounted entry at High Score Arcades. The Duke of Wellington pub is offering 20 per cent off food from Monday to Friday between midday and 3pm. Tudor House and Garden is admitting children under 16 for free with a paying adult throughout the month. Other promotions include a small fish and chips with a drink for £13 – or £10 with a soft drink – at The Platform Tavern. God’s House Tower is offering a free hot drink between 10am and 12pm. The campaign also ties in with several major events taking place in the city this September, including Music in the City on Saturday, September 12, Heritage Open Days from September 11 to 20, and the International Boat Show from September 18 to 27. Daniel Crow of God’s House Tower said: "We’re so lucky to live and work in such a fantastic city with a beautiful medieval old town at its heart. "Being surrounded by our history is a great reminder that the Old Town is here for us all to enjoy and the Love The Old Town campaign gives the public an opportunity to explore this remarkable part of the city and grab a bargain at many of its venues." Southampton’s Old Town is known for its medieval city walls, historic streets, and vibrant mix of independent restaurants, cultural venues, and global cuisine. A new Old Town guide will also be available at key attractions and city hotspots to help visitors plan their day. A digital version of the guide can also be accessed online.
