A new automotive scheme in the North East is putting UK-built vehicles front and centre on Britain’s roads. The North East Automotive Alliance (NEAA) has teamed up with Lookers Motor Group to offer exclusive deals on British-built Nissan models to its members, as well as their families and friends. The offer includes the Nissan Qashqai, JUKE, and the fully electric LEAF, all British-built. Paul Butler, chief executive of the NEAA, said: "As an organisation dedicated to supporting the UK’s automotive sector, we are excited to launch this exclusive member benefit. "Nissan Sunderland is one of the UK’s most important manufacturing plants, and by making these British-built vehicles more accessible through our partnership with Lookers Motor Group and Select Lease by Mobilize, we are helping members support UK manufacturing while benefiting from highly competitive offers." The scheme is supported by Nissan Motor GB Limited and delivered in partnership with Select Lease by Mobilize, the UK leasing brand operated by Mobilize Lease & Co UK Ltd. It aims to promote UK manufacturing while giving NEAA members access to affordable, home-grown vehicles. The Qashqai, a staple of the UK automotive industry for 20 years, is known for its practical design and technology tailored to European markets. Neil Davies, head of sales at Select Lease by Mobilize, said: "Select Lease by Mobilize is delighted to be part of the initiative with the North East Automotive Alliance to allow its members a suite of business and personal contract hire products in partnership with Nissan Motor GB Limited and Lookers. "Whether it’s a company vehicle for one of the NEAA businesses, or a personal contract hire car for staff, friends, and family, our strategic partnership with Lookers Car Leasing Hub and the local Lookers Nissan dealer in Gateshead has all bases covered."
