В Ст-Албансе пройдет неделя дизайна и интерьеров с участием местных экспертов

A week-long celebration of design and interiors is set to take place in the heart of St Albans. St Albans Homes & Interiors Week will run from September 14 to 20, bringing together a curated collection of interiors businesses across the city centre for a showcase of style, craftsmanship and inspiration. Nina Anastasopoulo, senior designer at Tom Howley, said: "St Albans has a wonderful mix of architectural character, from beautiful period properties and Victorian homes to more contemporary spaces, so it creates such an exciting canvas for interior design. "There is a strong appreciation for quality, craftsmanship and individuality. "Clients are often looking for more than simply following a trend – they want spaces that feel considered, personal and built to last." The event aims to inspire anyone planning a home project, from full renovations to smaller room updates, by giving them the chance to meet specialists and explore their offerings in person. Throughout the week, visitors can browse bespoke kitchens, furniture, flooring, smart-home technology and decorative art, with participating businesses offering exclusive promotions, in-store experiences, consultations and events. Tom Howley will offer the chance to speak to lighting, architects and lighting design specialists about upcoming projects, while ADS Smart Home is offering showroom tours and complimentary interior design consultations. A Fold of Chairs Interiors will open its upholstery studio, showcasing the craft of restoring mid-century furniture. Art lovers can visit OCA Gallery, which will host a Retro Night on Friday, September 18, while The Big Picture Reborn will offer special promotions on decorative mid-century William Morris prints and bespoke framing. Other highlights include an evening of interior inspiration at Moneyhill Interiors on Thursday, September 17, and the chance to discuss your kitchen plan that’s truly bespoke at Dwayne Edwards. Jessica Schertle, a local interior designer from Interiorsbybloom said: "I enjoy walking through the historic city centre, which is full of design inspiration everywhere, featuring both well-known brands and charming independents. "I’m excited to support Homes and Interiors Week after working on a variety of local businesses and projects, from complete renovations to optimising existing spaces." Some consultations and experiences require advance booking.
