A care group has expanded its reach with the acquisition of new supported living services. The Iris Care Group has acquired Elysium Cymru Ltd, which operates The Grove and Kensington Place in Newport. The move will further strengthen Iris Care Group’s supported living provision for adults with complex needs. Dr Andy Jones, chief executive officer at Iris Care Group, said: "This acquisition of Elysium Cymru Ltd represents another step in the continued growth of Iris Care Group. "It further demonstrates our strategic drive to build and deliver exceptional services, with strong reputations, for adults with complex needs. "We remain committed to investing in our services, facilities and dedicated teams to ensure we continue to provide care that supports individuals to live independent and meaningful lives." Established in 2008, Elysium Cymru Ltd delivers specialist supported living and residential care. The acquisition brings Iris Care Group’s portfolio to 63 services, including specialist hospitals, residential care, nursing services, and a special educational needs college. The group said the deal reflects its sustained operational growth and ongoing commitment to high standards of care and quality. Iris Care Group said it remains focused on improving specialist care across the UK through further acquisitions and the development of new services in the community.
