Шотландская компания удвоила выручку благодаря программному обеспечению для аккредитации на крупнейших спортивных и музыкальных событиях

An Edinburgh technology company has doubled the revenue generated by its event accreditation software since 2025 after supporting some of the UK’s biggest sporting and music events. Citizen Group used its proprietary Eventree platform to manage workforce operations and accreditation at major events in 2026, including the Glasgow Commonwealth Games and TRNSMT festival. The software was used across 13 venues during the Commonwealth Games, managing onboarding, site safety and venue access for more than 1,300 workers, contractors and crew members. Sites supported by Eventree included the OVO Hydro. The platform also processed more than 4,200 workforce accreditations for DF Concerts’ TRNSMT Festival, which attracted up to 150,000 people over three days. Eventree was also used at Glasgow Summer Sessions, where it processed nearly 5,000 staff, crew and artists. Citizen Group has expanded its client base internationally, working with brands including Soho House and Live Nation and supporting events such as Glastonbury and Burning Man. The company’s services have also expanded into motor racing circuits and civic events including National Armed Forces Day. Citizen Group says its growth has been driven by the increasing complexity of large-scale events and the need for streamlined workforce management, accreditation and compliance. Read more Harry Boisseau, CEO of Citizen Group, said: "The UK live music sector supports over 200,000 jobs, many on a casual basis. "Managing events which require a large, temporary, constantly rotating workforce is where our software excels. "Demonstrating that an Edinburgh tech company can seamlessly power operations for major events and global brands like Glastonbury and Burning Man is a proud moment for our team." Chris Hampson, Eventree Lead at Citizen Group, said: "The Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games was a genuinely complex deployment. "Thirteen venues running simultaneously, each with their own documentation, access control and inductions, and a workforce drawn from across the industry. "Our software handled all of that in one place, which is exactly why an operation of this scale chose us. "We're proud of how the platform performed and pleased to have been part of delivering such an important event."
