В супермаркете Tesco на острове Уайт появилась гигантская змея из разрисованных камней

A colourful "snake" made up of hand-painted stones has appeared at an Isle of Wight supermarket – and there is plenty of room for it to keep growing. Tesco Freshwater has spent the past few months working with schools, community groups, and care homes to create the unusual display, which winds its way around the edge of the store’s car park. Dozens of individually decorated and varnished stones have been contributed to the project, with designs ranging from colourful patterns to rainbows. The project has brought together contributions from across the West Wight community, including Littles Hayes Residential Home, The Gouldings, Eden House, West View, Brighstone Primary School, Our Place Community Group (at West Wight Sports Centre), and Little Stars Nursery. Brighstone Primary said its children had thoroughly enjoyed painting stones to add to the growing display. A Tesco spokesperson said: "We would like to thank the following community for creating lovely rocks for our snake." The supermarket is now hoping to see the snake stretch even further around its large car park and is inviting more people to get involved. Individuals, families, and community groups can contribute by painting and varnishing their own stone before taking it to the customer service desk at Tesco Freshwater. The stone will then be added to the display, giving the community-created snake the chance to grow longer still.
