Brave volunteers saved a terrified sheep that had been stranded on a hill near Ludlow for up to three days.
Lewis Sunderland, Dan Carter, and Molly Howells met at The Climbing Hut, a bouldering and climbing activity centre in Shrewsbury.
The trio arrived at the scene on Clee Hill between 7pm and 7:30pm on August 1. They had never gone on an animal rescue operation before.

"We were worried about the lamb getting scared and jumping so we had a few ideas to mitigate it," said Lewis Sunderland.
Howells lowered the bag from the top and was secured to it in case she needed to take the weight of the lamb.
"It probably had not eaten in ages or got any water. It was not in a very a good way," said Mrs Howells.
Both Sunderland and Carter rappelled down the hill on either side of the sheep so that if she ran away from one of the team, the other could grab her.
"As we lowered and got closer we could see she was very skittish and would take a step away from us any time either of us moved," Mr Sunderland said.
"Dan was worried she might make a move or fall and said 'distract her for a sec and I'll try grab a leg', I waved a hand in front of her, she took a step back and Dan tried to grab her but she got away and ran towards me."
Sunderland then held the sheep still while Carter fetched the bag.
"We got the cord around her as a backup, we got her in the bag which she jumped out of a couple of times, secured it to Dan, and he lowered it down to safety.
"It was very crumbly so I had to stay as still as possible while he lowered below me but even then he got showered with dirt and small rocks," Mr Sunderland added.
The spooked sheep posed a risk to herself and her rescuers throughout the operation.
"It was quite stressful there was a high chance it could go wrong sheep are quite jumpy. At the end of the day we just had to grab it because if it had jumped it would have died," Howells added.
Mr Sunderland said the animal repeatedly tried to escape as they worked to secure her for transport.
Despite the challenging conditions and several close calls, the climbers managed to safely lower the sheep to the ground using ropes and improvised equipment.
"Thankfully we got her down and the farmers were really appreciative," Mr Sunderland said.
