A multi-agency response was required after a building was thought to be close to collapsing onto a Powys road.
Teams from Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service, Dyfed-Powys Police, Powys County Council, and Scottish Power were all called to an incident at Penybontfawr this weekend.
Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue confirmed that the crew from Llanfyllin were called to the scene, after a section of roof collapsed in a derelict building in the village just after midday on Sunday (July 5).
Dyfed-Powys Police closed the road to traffic and asked drivers to "avoid the area."
Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service confirmed that the building was considered at risk of "imminent" collapse.

A spokesperson for Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service said: "At 12.12pm on Sunday, July 5, the Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service crew from Llanfyllin Fire Station was mobilised to an incident at Penybontfawr in Oswestry.
"The crew responded following the partial roof collapse of a derelict property.
"The rest of the building was in imminent danger of a full collapse and the nearby road was closed as a safety precaution.
"This incident required a multi-agency response, with Scottish Power, the Local Authority, and Dyfed-Powys Police also in attendance.
"The crew left the scene at 4.22pm."
Dyfed-Powys Police confirmed that it had left the scene and that "the situation is being managed by the Local Authority."
Powys County Council confirmed that the building had been assessed and had been deemed unsafe.
A spokesperson for Powys County Council said: "Building Control officers have inspected an unoccupied private property on the roadside of the B4391 in Penybontfawr after part of the roof and chimney collapsed.
"The building has been assessed as unsafe, and work is now underway to safely demolish the structure to a safe level.
"The B4391 will remain closed while these works are carried out to protect public safety. The road will be reopened as soon as it is safe to do so."
