Компания Vatrer Power получила международные сертификаты безопасности для литиевых батарей в гольф-карах и системах хранения энергии

The certifications cover key safety requirements for lithium batteries used in golf carts and stationary energy storage, addressing electrical protection, mechanical reliability and real-world operating conditions NEW YORK, Aug. 24, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Vatrer Power has received Intertek certification for LiFePO4 batteries under ANSI/CAN/UL 2271:2023 Ed.3 and ANSI/CAN/UL 1973:2022 Ed.3, covering light electric vehicle and stationary energy storage applications. Certified products include the Vatrer 36V 105Ah, 48V 105Ah and 51.2V 100Ah server rack lithium battery with WiFi. The certifications demonstrate that key battery protection, construction and safety functions meet defined requirements for the conditions these products may face in everyday use. UL 2271 for Golf Cart Battery Use The golf cart batteries are certified to UL 2271 requirements for light electric vehicle applications, where batteries must handle vehicle movement, changing power demand and outdoor operating conditions. A golf cart battery spends much of its working life in motion. Driving across paved paths, grass, slopes and uneven surfaces can expose the enclosure, internal connections and electrical components to repeated vibration and occasional impact. UL 2271 includes vibration endurance, shock and related mechanical requirements, helping ensure the battery construction can withstand the physical stresses associated with vehicle use. Power demand can also change quickly. For a 48V 105Ah lithium battery powering a golf cart, pulling away from a stop, climbing an incline or carrying additional passengers can create a heavier short-term load than steady cruising. UL 2271 covers abnormal charging, high discharge loads and short-circuit conditions. Built-in protection for overcharge, over-discharge, over-current and short circuits helps protect the battery when electrical conditions move outside its normal operating range. Golf carts may also spend hours outdoors or move between changing temperature and moisture conditions. Thermal cycling and water-exposure requirements address these environmental stresses, while single-cell failure requirements cover how the battery responds if an individual cell develops an abnormal condition. For owners considering golf cart lithium battery conversion kits, UL 2271 certification provides a safety benchmark alongside range, capacity and charging performance. When upgrading from lead-acid to lithium, buyers gain added confidence that the battery meets recognized requirements for the vibration, electrical loads and environmental conditions associated with golf cart use. UL 1973 for Stationary Energy Storage The Vatrer 51.2V 100Ah server rack lithium battery with WiFi is certified to ANSI/CAN/UL 1973:2022 Ed.3 for stationary battery applications. With 5.12 kWh of nominal energy storage, it is designed for server-rack solar, backup and off-grid power systems. A stationary battery faces a different operating pattern. In a solar or home backup system, it can move repeatedly between charging, standby and discharge as solar generation and household demand change. UL 1973 covers conditions such as abnormal charging and discharging, short circuits, temperature limits and cell imbalance. These requirements help ensure the battery’s protection controls can respond safely to load changes, charging irregularities and other electrical conditions that may occur during daily energy use. Long-term installation also makes physical construction important. Structural and impact requirements cover the battery enclosure and installation-related components, providing additional assurance for users who expect a server-rack battery to remain securely installed as part of a home backup or off-grid system. Server-rack batteries commonly operate alongside inverters, chargers, solar equipment and communications hardware. UL 1973 also addresses electromagnetic immunity, including electrical surges, electrostatic discharge and radio-frequency disturbances. This helps ensure key safety controls continue to function as intended when the battery operates around other connected electrical equipment. Quality control extends into production as well. Products covered by the certifications are subject to 100% production screening of specified active safety controls, including voltage, current and temperature protection during charging and discharging. These checks help ensure the protections customers rely on during charging, changing loads and temperature shifts are functioning before the battery enters service. Together, the two certifications address the different conditions these Vatrer batteries face in actual use. UL 2271 gives golf cart owners added assurance around vibration, high electrical loads and changing outdoor conditions, while UL 1973 gives stationary energy users added assurance around repeated charging cycles, installation stability and operation with surrounding electrical equipment.
