Звезда кино Белл Мариано провела день со своими спонсируемыми детьми в Филиппинах

In-demand star Belle Mariano may have a busy schedule, but one thing she will always make time for is spending meaningful moments with her four sponsored children. This initiative is part of Belle’s longstanding commitment to helping children living in vulnerable circumstances through her partnership with Christian humanitarian organization World Vision. Through child sponsorship, children are empowered with access to health and education, while also receiving support for their immediate needs during times of disaster. The program also gives sponsors the opportunity to build a personal connection with their sponsored children through letters and, in some cases, face-to-face meetings. For Mariano, her day with the children was filled with laughter, heartfelt conversations, and shared experiences as they celebrated the bond that has become a meaningful part of her life. Together, they played games, created arts and crafts, shared stories, exchanged handwritten letters, and prayed together. “I’m so happy because I got to see Ate Belle today. She is very kind to us! I always pray that God will bless her and keep her safe. Thank you for believing in me,” shared one of Mariano’s sponsored children. The child’s heartfelt words reflect the impact of child sponsorship — not only in providing support, but also in letting children know that someone believes in them, prays for them, and continues to walk alongside them as they grow. Through her visit, Mariano became more than a sponsor to the children; she became an ate who listens, encourages, and reminds them that they are seen, valued, and deeply loved. Across the Philippines, many children continue to face barriers to education, proper nutrition, protection, and opportunities to reach their full potential. Anyone can help change a child’s life for as little as P30 a day or P900 a month through child sponsorship. Beyond tangible support, sponsorship also nurtures meaningful relationships through letters, prayers, and personal encounters that remind children they are loved, valued, and never alone. Mariano is also championing World Vision Philippines’ Girls Can campaign, encouraging more Filipinos to stand with vulnerable girls and children by becoming child sponsors. Through her voice and influence, she hopes to inspire others to help create brighter futures where every child has the opportunity to thrive. From warm smiles to heartfelt conversations, Mariano’s day with her sponsored children became more than a simple visit — it was a reminder that hope can be shared, potential can be nurtured, and brighter futures can be built together.
