2030. The Ministries of Education and Media have launched the registration platform for the "Media School for Talented Students," which begins its first phase in Medina, aimed at discovering media talents among first-year secondary school students, developing their skills, and preparing them to compete in the media and content creation sectors. The school offers an educational model that combines the national curriculum with practical media training, through specialized tracks that include journalism, marketing, media planning, and media appearance, in addition to training in content creation. The media programs are implemented after school hours, under the supervision of the Ministries of Education and Media, and the school provides training facilities that include studios for filming, sound, and editing, as well as laboratories for producing journalistic and digital content. The admission mechanism includes measuring language and creative skills, the ability to write news stories, presentation skills, and analysis of media materials, in addition to a personal interview and assessment of critical thinking, along with the presentation of a mini media product, such as a video, podcast, or article. The launch of the school comes as part of the expansion of specialized schools for the talented and the preparation of national cadres that combine academic excellence with media training, in line with the needs of the sector and the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
