Эндрю Гарфилд объяснил молчание по поводу успехов Тома Холланда: он еще не смотрел его фильмы

Andrew Garfield has not congratulated Tom Holland on his latest career milestones, and he has a simple reason for staying quiet: he has not watched Holland’s latest films yet. At the premiere of his upcoming movie The Uprising, Garfield addressed why he has stayed silent on the Spider-Man star’s recent run of success. Holland has had a packed year, headlining Christopher Nolan’s historical epic, The Odyssey, and starring in his fourth Marvel movie as Peter Parker, both of which have drawn strong reactions from audiences and critics. Andrew Garfield says he wants to watch Tom Holland’s films before reaching out Garfield made clear that his silence on Spider-Man: Brand New Day and The Odyssey is not a snub. He told Variety, “You know what? I haven’t yet because I haven’t seen it. I don’t want to be disingenuous.” He went on to acknowledge the scale of Holland’s success, saying, “I mean like listen, a movie making money and people going to see it is an incredible thing but I will reach out to him once I’ve seen the movie which I’m very excited to see and his other film The Odyssey I haven’t managed to see either yet so I will send him a message when I see the work he’s done.” Andrew Garfield’s comments suggest he wants his praise to be grounded in an actual viewing rather than a courtesy message tied to box office numbers. By his own admission, he plans to watch both films before sending Holland any kind of response. Moreover, his remarks come at a moment when Tom Holland is being widely discussed for his work in both projects. Both films were released within weeks of each other this past summer, giving Holland a rare double showcase across two very different genres. Garfield, who has shared the screen with Holland before as part of a multi-Spider-Man crossover, has previously fielded questions about his own possible return to the role. Fans have speculated about hidden appearances in Holland’s newest Spider-Man film, though Garfield has downplayed those theories in past interviews. For now, Garfield’s message to Holland remains unsent. But his comments indicate it is only a matter of time, once he catches up on the two performances that have kept Holland in the headlines.
