24-летний Тедди Дженкс перешел в «Карлайл Юнайтед» после успешного сезона в «Вортинг»

Teddy Jenks has taken the next step in a season that already marked him out as one of the standout midfield stories in the National League South. The 24-year-old has completed a permanent transfer to Carlisle United, ending a productive spell at Worthing FC and moving into the fifth tier with a growing reputation. The deal follows a run of form that made Jenks difficult to ignore. Since arriving in West Sussex last September, he made his debut against Jersey Bulls in the Emirates FA Cup Second Round Qualifying Reply, then opened his account two rounds later against Forest Green. By the end of the campaign, he had scored 16 times in 45 appearances, a return that stands out for a midfielder. A season that changed his profile Jenks' influence was not limited to goals. In March 2026, he won the Enterprise National League South Player of the Month award, underlining how important he had become to Worthing FC's attack. Then, on Friday, he supplied a pair of assists against Tamworth, another reminder that his game is not just about arriving in scoring positions but also about creating for others. That combination of output and consistency helps explain why interest built around him after such a strong start. The source of that interest is now clear: Carlisle United have moved to bring in a midfielder who offered end product, momentum and versatility for Worthing FC during a title-winning run. What it means for both clubs For Worthing FC, Jenks leaves after contributing to a memorable year that ended with the club being named Champions in April and securing the National League South title. For Carlisle United, the move adds a player who has already shown he can influence matches from midfield, whether by scoring, assisting or simply carrying his side forward. The transfer fee has not been disclosed, but the logic is straightforward. Jenks arrives with form, age on his side and proof that he can deliver in a competitive environment. That makes this more than a recruitment move; it is a sign that Carlisle United believe his best work is still ahead of him.
