Larson Promoted at 'Genuinely Transformed' Twin City Fan MINNEAPOLIS — James Larson takes over as president of Twin City Fan Companies Ltd. on Tuesday, Sept. 1. Larson was formerly Twin City’s COO, a role he held since March of 2025. He brings more than 30 years of manufacturing and operations leadership experience to his new position, having previously served as president of Cass Precision Machining and COO of both King Technology and AmesburyTruth. Larson succeeds Michael McCann, who has served as president for the past five years. Until his planned retirement in February, McCann will maintain an advisory role, continuing to support the leadership team with a focus on key customer relationships and business development, including within the company’s growing data center segment. “I want to thank Mike for his leadership,” Michael Barry, CEO of Twin City Fan Companies, said in a press release. “He led this business through the COVID pandemic and we came out the other side stronger. He’s brought a level of operational discipline and professionalism to TCFC that has positioned us well for the future. James is inheriting a business that has been genuinely transformed under Mike’s leadership and we’re confident he’ll build on that foundation.” This leadership transition reflects a succession plan that has been in development for the past two years and positions Twin City Fan Companies for continued growth across its core and emerging markets, the press release said. Twin City Fan Companies Ltd. comprises three companies, Twin City Fan & Blower, Aerovent, and Clarage, which manufacture a full spectrum of air-moving equipment.
