Брэнди Роудс призналась, что предпочла бы более мелкий татуировку на шее Кодди

Brandi Rhodes has opened up about Cody Rhodes’ famous neck tattoo, admitting that while she does not hate it, she would have preferred a much smaller design. Cody’s huge American Nightmare tattoo has become one of the most recognizable tattoos in wrestling. Over the years, it has also attracted all sorts of reactions from fans, wrestlers, and even the people closest to him. Brandi Rhodes discusses Cody Rhodes’ decision to get the tattoo During an appearance on Shot of Brandi with Carmelo Hayes, Brandi talked about her conversations with Cody before and after he got the tattoo. She said she never wanted to tell him what to do with his body, but she would not have gone for such a large design herself. “Here’s what I said to Cody about the neck tattoo, ‘It’s your body. You can do what you want with your body. However, I wouldn’t do it quite that large if it were me,’” Brandi said. Cody first showed off the tattoo in February 2020 during his entrance for his match against MJF at AEW Revolution. The red, white and blue design features the skull-and-wings logo, and it covers a large part of the right side of his neck. The design also represents the American Nightmare identity Cody had built during his time in AEW. For Brandi, the main issue seems to be the size rather than the tattoo itself. “I don’t not like it, I think it’s his personality. I think he did it because he’s that kind of person. He represents what he represents all the time,” she explained. Hayes also mentioned Cody’s previous claim that he did not realize the finished tattoo would be quite as big as it turned out to be. However, Brandi seemed doubtful about that explanation too. Read More: Brandi Rhodes Reveals Why Her WWE In-Ring Return Never Happened
