Grocery 1 min read Fredun Pharmaceuticals acquires pet-wellness brand Furlicks from USV, Wellbeing Nutrition Fredun Pharmaceuticals Ltd (FPL) has acquired pet-wellness brand Furlicks from pharma major USV and its subsidiary Wellbeing Nutrition, marking the company’s entry into India’s pet-wellness market. Furlicks offers pet supplements in oral-strip formats across categories including skin and coat, gut health, joint care, calming, oral care and multivitamins. FPL said the acquisition will allow it to leverage its manufacturing, product development, R&D, quality, supply-chain and distribution capabilities to scale the brand. The company plans to introduce 12 new SKUs in the first phase, followed by another 32 SKUs in the second phase. It aims to expand Furlicks beyond its existing oral-strip proposition into a broader everyday pet-wellness platform.
