Asus Pad T3201M5A: легкий планшет с OLED-экраном и батареей на 9000 мАч

Trending Asus Pad T3201M5A review: Slim, bright, and built for all-day multitaskingComments AA Text Size Small Medium LargeThe Asus Pad T3201M5A is Asus’s latest attempt to redefine what a productivity‑focused tablet can achieve. With its sleek design, expansive display, and powerful internals, this tablet aims to bridge the gap between portability and performance, offering a device that can handle both work and play with ease. The tablet comes with a starting price tag of Rs 45,990 and is powered by a MediaTek chipset. The device houses a vibrant OLED display and is backed by a 9,000 mAh battery. We used the Asus Pad T3201M5A for sometime to explore how Asus’s newest Pad performs across design, display and performance. Here’s the complete review of the Asus Pad T3201M5A. Design Asus Pad T3201M5A features a sleek, minimalist and lightweight design. It is clear that Asus has prioritised portability with the T3201M5A. The tablet weighs 623 grams and measures 6.5mm in thickness. Despite the large 12.2-inch display the device is slimmer and lighter when compared to other Android tablets available in the market. Asus has built the chassis using lightweight magnalium with a fiberglass back cover. The combination of material used in the tablet is intended to create balanced structural durability and its light weight ensures that you don’t feel any fatigue even after prolonged usage.Button placement follows a fairly conventional layout for an Android tablet of this size: the power button and volume rocker sit along the top edge when the tablet is held in landscape orientation, keeping them within easy reach of the thumb or index finger without being so close to the edge that they're accidentally triggered while gripping the device. The power button also doubles as the Face Login trigger point, waking the display as soon as it's pressed so the biometric unlock can kick in almost instantly. The USB-C port sits on the shorter edge, positioned so it doesn't interfere with hand placement whether the tablet is being used in portrait or landscape mode, and the microSD slot is tucked discreetly along the same edge without needing a separate tray tool to access. The overall design reads as clean and minimalist, with a 92% screen-to-body ratio that keeps bezels tight around the display. ASUS designed the tablet for "carry-anywhere" use rather than desk-bound productivity, aiming to slip easily into bags and hold up to frequent movement between home, office, campus, and travel settings. It ships in a single Pure White colourway. Display The display is one of the standout features of Asus Pad T3201M5A. The tablet features a 12.2-inch, 2.8K (2800×1840) dual-layer OLED panel with a 3:2 aspect ratio. The large display is suited for both media consumption and productivity-style split-screen use. The dual-layer or "tandem," OLED architecture stacks two OLED emission layers on top of each other, a design choice that improves brightness efficiency and is intended to extend the panel's usable lifespan compared with conventional single-layer OLED screens. The screen offers 144Hz refresh rate and claims to deliver 600 nits of typical brightness levels which can go up to 2000 nits. The high brightness levels of the display makes sure that you don’t miss out anything while using the device under direct sunlight. During our testing the Asus Pad T3201M5A offered strong and accurate colours with the right amount of contrast. Along with this, Asus has also included a smudge-resistant coating and the TÜV Rheinland eye-comfort certification. Between the resolution, refresh rate, and OLED contrast, the display makes the tablet particularly well suited to movie and video streaming. Performance Beyond the screen, Asus has packed in a set of software and connectivity features designed to extend the tablet's usefulness past standalone use. Asus GlideX enables cross-device workflows between the tablet and a PC, supporting screen sharing, file transfers, and multi-device multitasking — useful for anyone who wants to use the tablet as a secondary screen or quick file-transfer bridge alongside a laptop. On the AI side, the tablet leans on Google's ecosystem rather than a proprietary Asus AI layer. It includes Circle to Search, letting users look up information directly from on-screen content without switching apps, along with broader Google Gemini integration for AI-powered assistance across tasks and information lookup. Asus also pairs the tablet's split-screen multitasking with GlideX and Circle to Search as a combined pitch toward students and productivity-focused users. The tablet packs 8GB of RAM and comes in two storage options — 128GB and 256GB. Users can further expand the storage by installing a microSD card of up to 1TB. The device also house four speakers tuned by Dolby Atmos. The T3201M5A is powered by MediaTek's Dimensity 8300 chipset. This isn't a flagship-tier chipset, but it's a solid mid-to-upper-tier performer well matched to the tablet's intended use cases — streaming, casual gaming, reading, note-taking, and everyday multitasking. The combination of LPDDR5X memory and UFS 3.1 storage helps keep the experience feeling responsive for everyday app switching and split-screen productivity work, even if it won't match the sustained performance of pricier flagship tablets running the latest top-tier silicon. For casual gaming and media-heavy use, the Dimensity 8300 offers a reasonable balance between performance and power efficiency rather than chasing benchmark-topping numbers.Coming to software, the Asus Pad T3201M5A runs Android 16 operating system. The company has also included its own productivity tools, most notably GlideX for cross-device work with PCs, alongside Android's native split-screen multitasking. Google's AI features — Circle to Search and Gemini — are integrated at the OS level rather than being ASUS-exclusive additions, meaning the AI experience will closely track whatever Google continues to roll out to compatible Android 16 devices going forward. The T3201M5A has a 13MP rear camera with autofocus and a 5MP front-facing camera for video calls and Face Login. These are functional for document scanning, video calls, and casual photography, but they're not a highlight of the device. Battery Another impressive feature and selling point of the Asus Pad T3201M5A is its battery performance. The Android tablet houses a 9,000mAh battery. The company has also included 45W wired fast charging which enables the device to charge up to 50% in just 30 minutes. The large battery of the T3201M5A easily lasts for more than a day on a single charge. Verdict The Asus Pad T3201M5A comes with a starting price tag of Rs 45,990 and is genuinely a pretty decent device. The tablet features an OLED display, lightweight design and is backed by a massive 9,000 mAh battery. Also, the useful productivity tools make your work and life easier. Anyone prioritizing a large, vibrant screen for streaming, reading, and everyday productivity then Asus Pad T3201M5A is a good buy. Get the latest technology news and updates.
