Контент-мейкер призвала перестать жаловаться на работу, пока она оплачивает ваш образ жизни

A social media discussion has emerged after content creator Disha Desai urged people to stop constantly complaining about their 9-to-5 jobs while depending on the salaries from those jobs to fund their lifestyles. In a video that went viral on Instagram, Desai reflected on her own history with corporate frustration, acknowledging that she too has voiced similar complaints in the past, while arguing that those who genuinely dislike their jobs should work toward building an alternative career or income source instead. Salary funds lifestyle until alternative is built, says Desai Desai emphasised that until such an alternative exists, a regular paycheck remains responsible for covering everyday costs, including rent, vacations, social outings and investments. She suggested that employees ought to acknowledge the financial stability their current jobs provide even as they work toward a different long-term path, if corporate life isn't ultimately what they want. "I've seen so many people complain about corporate life, and honestly, I've been one of them too. But now I feel that if we hate our 9-to-5 so badly, then it is upon us to build something else and make it work. And until the time we do that, until the time we figure out another source of income, our office salary is what is paying for our rent, our vacations, our parties, our future investments, basically our entire lifestyles. So, we cannot be cribbing so much about corporate life all the time," Desai said in the video. She urged those who feel strongly dissatisfied with their careers to redirect that energy toward achieving financial independence rather than continuing to express resentment toward their present circumstances. The video's caption reinforced this message: "We can't force ourselves to love our jobs. But if our job is funding our life, we probably shouldn't spend every day resenting it." A number of users sided with Desai's pragmatic take, agreeing that a stable income forms the financial backbone supporting much of their lifestyle. Others pushed back, arguing that concerns such as burnout, heavy workloads and toxic workplace environments represent legitimate grievances that shouldn't be reduced to mere complaining.
